Why is Necrozma scaled at Large Country level for being stronger than Country levels, if anything it should just be At least Country level, it's like making a character Large Town level for being stronger than a Town level

Disregard this, I made a mistake and forgot how to read for a moment lol

Except that Necrozma is scaled to Solgaleo and Lunala, who are Large Country level.
Solgaleo and Lunala's ratings are extremely questionable themselves.

Saying that Solgaleo's attack being stated to be as strong as a meteor and then scaling it to the dinosaur extinction meteor via "based on the strength of other Legendaries" is the definition of overextrapolation, and this has no basis whatsoever.

That and scaling Solgaleo to other mascot Legendaries "just because" should speak for itself.

Also, should the Tapu and UBs be upgraded to scale to Solgaleo and Lunala or should they be downgraded to scale to Tapu?

Since, in my playthrough of Sun, I recall Tapu Koko battling alone, not with all 3 other Tapu, and even if all 4 fought Solgaleo/Lunala, they would all scale for taking hits and damaging the legendaries

I agree with Ever, we can't just scale legendaries just because they're legendaries, and I believe this is the only time we did this

Weren't you the one who did the upgrade in the first place ya prick. @Cal

The only other major feats I remember are Cosmog covering Alola in clouds and Guzzlord eating oceans.

Why make them Unknown when we already have a lowball?

How about "Unknown, At least City level, possibly higher"?

Well a few things.

For one, I recall the Tapu's Z-moves being able to "summon all of the energy of Alola itself" or something like that and they are inferior to or comparble to Lunala/Solgaleo. Could that be Country Levelish?

Second, isnt there a non-legend in Alola who's tier 6 for being able to eat oceans?

I dunno about using City level as a lowball. Considering that would be with the current ratings, Brock and Misty of all people would be far above them. And that just seems weird.

I wouldn't be against scaling them to strong trainers (7-A to 6-C), if not, I guess just "Unknown" may have to do until we get something.

@Weirdo because it's way too much of a lowball. Average Pokemon are City, ones that are seen as almighty deity to them shouldn't even be anywhere near each other tier wise.

@Kukui

Well, I know Guzzlord can eat Mountains, but that's a variable tier in itself. I could calc the destruction of an Hawaiian Mountain, but given the vague description of it, it may not be acceptable.

There's also this:

Lunala- "Known as the beast that calls the moo, Lunala has long been honored as an emissary of the moon. This pokemon constantly absorbs light to convert into energy. When it spreads its wings to absorb light and glitters, it resembles a beautiful night sky."

Solgaleo- "Known as the beast that devours the su, Solgaleo has long been honored as an emissary of the sun. Its body is capable of holding a vast amount of energy and glows when active."

Could we get something out of these, particularly Solgaleo's?

The former doesn't mean much.

The latter we've been over and dismissed it because it's clearly hyperbole. If Solgaleo actually devoured the sun, there wouldn't be one in the sky.

Cosmoem is considered "the cocoon of the stars"

But I don't know if it really means anything, nor do I think it means anything

I don't mean to sound rude, but this is all obvious hyperbole/flowery language and I don't see why you guys are accounting for it.

Cocoon of the Stars sounds more like a title than anything, unless anything in the lore actually shows it doing anything stellar or having more direct statements, then I do not believe it is usable.

Kind of funny, how everyone I knew was expecting some cosmic tier stuff in these games, yet they're pretty barren feat wise.

True, but could it mean he just devours parts of the sun? Given its size it wouldnt be farfetched to say Solgaleo eats parts of the sun while theres still plenty of it left to be in the sky.

Also here's Solgeleos pokedex entry:

"It is said to live in another world. The intense light it radiates from the surface of its body can make the darkest of nights light up like midday."

Sounds sort of similar to Reshirams feat of changing the worlds temperature and being given 6-A.

"It is said to live in another world. The intense light it radiates from the surface of its body can make the darkest of nights light up like midday." Maybe this can help give a tier?

I'm still pissed at Type: Null's lack of Arceus level power.

@Kukui

If Solgaleo devoured parts of the sun, I think they'd specifically clarify that rather than saying he devours the sun. Besides, human-sized pieces of the sun doesn't really mean much for tiers.

Hmm good point but to be fair im sure the people of Alola (especially my man Kukui xD) wouldnt be dumb enough to believe he devours the whole sun otherwise they wouldnt have one and there wouldnt be such a big thing about the Sun in Alola to begin with.

"Said to live in another world, this Pokémon devours light, drawing the moonless dark veil of night over the brightness of day." By any chance would absorbing light (apparently even from the moon, as it's not visible) warrant a tier?

You need to prove Solgaleo's lore is true, not just say it is because it's true for other Legendaries.

Wow, we're really forced to grasp at straws for this and nothing works, our only hope for this is for Game Freak to actually make these Legendaries have feats, maybe Solgaleo's light feat?
