Byakuya believes that after his Bankai is sealed that Renji's Bankai would be their best possible way of killing As Nodt, as such Renji with his Bankai should scale above Byakuya without his Bankai

So Renji's post-timeskip key would be adjusted to;
At least Country level [38.94 Teratons] (Stronger than before), higher with Shakaho, At least Multi-Continental [2.2175 Exatons] with bankai (Superior to Kuchiki Byakuya without the use of his bankai)

Did you look at the scans? Byakuya is saying "If my Bankai is taken, I want YOU to beat the enemy."
 
Byakuya is making an educated guessed based on “if all else fails” in this scenario. Bleach characters don’t release their full power until their reiatsu is shown. There is no way for Byakuya knows Renji scales to As Nodt in this scene. Byakuya didn’t even calculated As Nodt power level correctly in this battle. As Nodt ended up defeating Byakuya who was confident to win this match.

Myx do you mind if I include the ramifications of this in a general cour 1&2 AP/dura fix up revision I have planned? Not saying close your thread, but there’s a few characters that I need to fix for scaling the anime and figured I’d lump it in one thread so staff ain’t trying to evaluate like 5 threads

Shikai Byakuya cut through As Nodt’s skin and made him bleed.

Shikai Renji never made As Nodt bleed.

Shikai Byakuya > Shikai Renji.

No scaling. Thread closed.

This thread is about Bankai Renji > Shikai Byakuya, not Bankai Renji > Blut As Nodt.
2.2175 Exatons is what Byakuya was at before TLA.
First Invasion/TLA Shikai Byakuya > Hueco Mundo Shikai Byakuya = 2.2175 Exatons
Due to the lack of a solid number, Blut As Nodt > Base As Nodt ~ First Invasion/TLA Shikai Byakuya > 2.2175 Exatons.
This thread is posing that First Invasion/TLA Bankai Renji >= First Invasion/TLA Shikai Byakuya, which would put him at a number above 2.2175 Exatons, but that does not mean he would be stronger then As Nodt even without the stolen Bankai or Vol.
For all we know, Bankai Renji could be 1.2X Shikai Byakuya and Blut As Nodt 5X Shikai Byakuya, but without further knowledge, all we have is this:
Blut As Nodt >=<(idk they never fought) First Invasion/TLA Bankai Byakuya > Base As Nodt >=< (idk he's technically featless) First Invasion/TLA Bankai Renji >= First Invasion/TLA Shikai Byakuya > Hueco Mundo Shikai Byakuya = 2.2175 Exatons
(I could be a little off on this chain since I'm not great with these. Sorry about how poor this post looks)
Essentially, everyone here is scaling an unspecified number higher then Hueco Mundo Shikai Byakuya, and Shikai Renji not being able to hurt As Nodt has no relevence on whether or not Bankai Renji is stronger then Shikai Byakuya in First Invasion/TLA, and As Nodt is not being used to scale Bankai Renji either; rather, it is Byakuya's statements about Bankai Renji being stronger then him in Shikai during his fight with As Nodt that is being scaled and because the 2.2175 Exatons is from Byakuya's end and because Byakuya should have a decent understanding of Renji's strength at the time of the first invasion.

In short, it does not matter if Byakuya misjudged As Nodt's strength. All that would mean is that As Nodt would scale to an even higher unknown degree above 2.2175 Exatons. What is being judged is that First Invasion/TLA Bankai Renji >= First Invasion/TLA Shikai Byakuya > Hueco Mundo Shikai Byakuya = 2.2175 Exatons. (Please correct me if I got any number or scaling wrong, but I think this is it?)

Side note: If anyone is wondering about the gigantic disparity between Renji's Shikai and Bankai if this passes, Renji currently scales a significant degree above that number, as it was where he was at during his first fight with Byakuya in the Soul Society Arc7Kuroi. There just hasn't been any solid numbers for Renji since then, I'm assuming.

So would RG Renji by comparison just scale to “at least 2.2 exatons higher with Bankai”? His current RG Bankai after training and obtaining the true name of it would currently scale to his previous Bankai
