There's no significant indication that it is only a few seconds as far as I can tell. It could've just as easily been 30 seconds, potentially even a minute to travel the full distance.

Well yeah there's nothing really conclusive but the general implication is that it's super quick. Obito teleports there and still seems to be in a hurry to leave after few seconds of talking. Despite the fact that Nard and others first had to locate them before even getting near.
Point is, while it's not really something we can calc and index, it does support the idea that regular shinobi can maintain relatively high speed across thousands of meters, not just for short bursts mid-combat

Yeah eyeballing it I'd say they traveled for less than 10ish seconds.
Zetsu left before the team even started locating where they went. And after Zetsu got there Obito wanted to leave right away. With Kiba even confirming that they're at Sasuke's location by the time they reached the amaterasu wall and Yamato had to open it.
So I'd say they were traveling for about as long as Obito talked to Zetsu on the spot, maybe slightly less due to the amaterasu slowing them down. Still not really conclusive enough to get a solid timeframe (at least not one that would go much past supersonic speeds) but good supportive evidence for more direct feats. Hinata crossing the village in the PA is probably a better travel speed feat all things considered

Yeah but that's just eyeballing it. Actually trying to measure it would be a bit harder and might yield results as low as subsonic since we'd likely be forced to use the lowest possible estimate due to a lack of concrete evidence about certain parts of the feat

@Syncornize I believe Ghost said in the previous thread that he plans to make a proper discussion rule thread that entailed all the past light fang threads. So you making this right of the bat kinda ninja’d him. Tbh just one big staff thread entailing and summarizing all possible rules (Kirin included) would be far more better here.

Yeah but that doesn't really mean you can't read them retroactively. And if you're so busy that you can't read the replies to your own threads then you should probably wait with pumping them out until you get some free time.
It's fine to be busy of course, but nobody is forcing you make the thread now, tomorrow, or any time soon. It's better to take your time than to rush things.

but given the new information, do you still intend to continue the thread, given that there seems to be a noticeable shortage of threads/evidence connected to it. A proper revisited thread could fix those, aswell as tackle the Kirin topic.

Regardless, if we’re going to base things on something as insignificant as “who said it first,” it was me but I’ll leave it to ghost.
