I mean fate was always a thing Boruto played with and talked about ever since the first arc, with Momoshiki seeing the fates of both Boruto and Kurama. Hell, Boruto straight up tells "fate" to bring it on. So even if not everything was planned, it was obvious Boruto was meant to defy or fight against fate in one way or another.

@HelloThere1089 Regeneration from Soul Thorn will be just immortality type 8 & High Mid Regeneration May be not low Godly. To get Low Godly you need to regenerate from soul alone but we see physical material for soul thorn. So it wouldn't work as Low Godly Regeneration.

Eh… I think one of the Japanese Volumes for Boruto (Idk if it was NNG or one of the TBV Volumes), they strongly imply that “Ten-Tails” are the discarded Bodies of Otsutsuki who ascended.
This is why I said we might have a different levels of Ascended Otsutsuki Gods because Obviously, Shibai’s Juubi is > Kaguya’s Juubi.

the issue is hidari was completely vaporised by kawaki and then the soul thorn formed afterwards. It's not like soul thorn is inside them. So it's still low godly as the thorn came from nothing

Yeah this is true. The soul thorn literally represents their soul. So the regen should be low godly. But that's only the thorn itself. Hidari coming back would be limited or conditional regen or resurrection, depending on how it is later described. Anyways I think we can all agree the Shinju pretty much have ass regeneration/resurrection across the board.
