Not sure thats the official name given to it, it’s something the fanbase appealing
That’s weird, I was watching Naruto Explained Video Today and it was shown, “Black Eye” (Quotations and all)

And sure enough, when I translate the Article instead of using their Eng translation on the Website, “Black Eye” pops up again (Quotations and All).

The raws that Sparkle sent say くろめ (kurome) iirc, like it doesn’t seem like they’re calling the eye “Black Eye” as in Sharingan, Byakugan, etc. I think they’re just referencing the fact that it’s black. I could be wrong tho 🤷‍♂️

Well I don’t speak Japanese. Idk if “Black Eye” would have the “Koku” or “Kuro” or where “Koku” is even coming from. I do know “Kuro” means Black in Japanese unless I’m missing something… 🤔
Koku and kuro are different readings of the same kanji. Just like byaku and shiro both mean white. Because they didnt give the furigana its uncertain, but since the eye seems to contrast Byakugan, it should prolly be called Kokugan.

What else could it be if not Shinjutsu? Iirc Otsutsuki never learned Ninjutsu right?
Well, if we take the Anime/Movie Portrayal, just Raw Chakra Manipulation (Change in Form).

It’s more than likely Shinjutsu, but would it be Shinjutsu Based Energy Manipulation (Anime/Manga Portrayal) or Straight Up Weapon Creation (Manga Portrayal)

Didn't we see him do that? Or was that movie only?
like the energy weapons? I'm pretty sure he used them
I am pretty sure @SlendVeny is asking if Momoshiki after dying can use the energy weapons. We only ever see Fused Momoshiki do it. But Momoshiki always appears as the unfused version of himself whenever he interacts with Boruto after dying. Hence why this makes sense:
Imo he should. The only way he wouldn’t is if Karma ignored his fusion and only transformed his Base Data.

Nah I don't think it'll be that. Mainly because in the games it is stated to be a jutsu iirc. Although they could retcon that or sumn.

Weapon Creation I think.
