I honestly think Boruto slams. Even if he's weaker, he occupies a similar enough tier of power to compete. Which is all he'd really need because with his massive versatility advantage, he'll absolutely outlast that fraud. Uzuhiko will be really bad given BM's nature, it'll accelerate the form's already short asf timeline greatly. And Boruto will be able to avoid just about anything serious with FTG.
I cannot stress how ass Baryon Mode is as a form. It's horrendous, outside of the stats amp, which also diminishes with time
Asspull Mode is garbage

The stat amp is huge tho. That alone is enough for him to beat enemies SPSM Naruto has no chance against. Would argue it's better than some SSJ forms. It's also possible the life drain is proportional to the user's remaining lifetime.

None of the Super Saiyan forms have anywhere near the drawbacks of Baryon Mode, so no.

Given Isshiki's life drain it makes sense, as each punch goes from draining hours to minutes, but the stat debuff is nowhere near that big.

Rework Baryon Mode so that it drains so much Chakra that it "kills" the Bijuu. Bijuu dies and takes a few years for it to reappear in the Jinchuuriki's body, similar to a normal Bijuu death. Keeps Naruto nerfed for a few years or so without getting rid of Kurama permanently, if the writer chooses to bring him back for whatever reason.

Sasuke is still going to lose that Rinnegan for his nerf tho, which is oof
