Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

Hmmmm, well I certainly agree on Itachi and Jiraiya once again.
I think you might be selling Madara a bit short though. He's not at Pain's level or anything, but I think he's extremely well-written. He sure as hell beats anything that came after him by light years lol.
 
I feel kinda bad for Zamasu_Chan. He is watching Naruto for the first time but he has probably seen a fuckton of spoilers on this forum. While the show will still be enjoyable some things in Naruto were more exiting because of the mistery and anticipation.
 
Yeah, he knows way more than he should lol.
Though honestly, I've reread the manga recently and I've enjoyed it more than I have in years tbh (war arc up to a certain point is actually kinda good lmao), and it reignited my love for the series. So yeah, it's not that bad. Plus you pick up on certain things you missed on your earlier read throughs.

That’s okay. I already knew how the story went. I just never watched the anime and therefore, haven’t seen all the details.

I started watching Youtubers reacting to Naruto for the first time after I was finished with the manga, so I have seen the whole anime 4 more times lol. And yeah you really do pick on certain things when you re-watch the series, like when Kakashi during part 1 is confused as to why Itachi won't kill him but you already know the truth about Itachi, or when Sasuke gets mad at Sakura at the beggining of the series for saying that Naruto is trash because he doesn't have parents, but now you know why he is mad.

I was looking at a thread with translations of the Boruto Novels that adapt the Anime Academy episodes and I noticed this.

In this scene Boruto wasn't close to Boruto or Sumire and there was barely a distance between the two of them.
But once Boruto's Jougan activated he was able to speed up so much that he completely blitzed them and blocked both attacks.

Would this make a case for validating the Momoshiki feat?

Not really lol. Even if we take this at face value and put Boruto at Lightning speed (MHS+), it would still be very weird for him to keep up with Fused Momoshiki, who's currently FTL.
 
I’m pretty sure all the novels included in the timeline are considered canon

So the Hiden and Shiden and Retsuden and the Naruto the Last movie and Boruto novels 1-5 are all canon

as well as the Itachi novels

The only one that isn’t canon is the Boruto movie novel and I’m pretty sure that’s because the movie itself was Retconned so the novel is also now

Naruto refers to his Sage Mode is inferior to KCM, right? Naruto was completely taken over by his KN6 (He dk how powerful KN6 was), so he compared his Sage Mode to his KCM.
That scaling chain above is my headcanon.
