Since the original thread is dead let´s do another one
  • Birth of the Ten-Tails’ Jinchūriki Naruto and Fourth Shinobi World War Sasuke are being used
  • Naruto starts in Sage Mode
  • Anything over 6-C is restricted
  • Mario and Luigi have their optional equipment of the "Mushrooms/Flowers/Stars:" section (They also have a Super Suit, A-OK Wear, Lazy Shell, and No-touch Socks)
  • Naruto and Sasuke have knowledge in the AP gap between they and Mario & Luigi
  • Both pairs start 10 meters apart
  • Speed is equalized
  • Naruto and Sasuke´s profiles - Mario and Luigi´s profiles

Mario & Luigi can resist all Bijuu's abilities? Maybe lava but i can't see stuff for acid, for example...
from what i remember can do it, Mario and Luigi have nothing on their set that can go inside Sasuke's susano'o, and it can be combined with Kurama to make their megazord...
Pain manip, Illusion manip, Memory manip and the minor Astral Projection inside the mind are all in Sharingan's kit and not resisted by both Mario bros.
Both Mario bros cannot do much against analytical prediction, enhanced senses and extrasensory perception, that are inside both Naruto and Sasuke's kits

How does these powers work in battle?

Also, Mario & Luigi also have some good stuff like transmutation, existence erasure, power nullification, BFR, teleportation and etcetera, they can also always resurrect each other
 
Mario and Luigi win thanks to a hax gap. Like, Jesus Christ, I didn't know they were so overpowered. What's even the win condition for Naruto and Sasuke?

Everything there that I mentioned is in Sasuke's sharingan, so by looking at his eyes, either Mario or Luigi just doesn't exist anymore in the battle and could die from the pain
In naruto's kit there is the analytical prediction and etc

Mario doesn't have this in his standard kit nor on the optional items you authorized here.

In Luigi's kit it's written "allow Luigi to see objects that are hidden in a manner similar to an ultraviolet lamp and remove beings/objects trapped inside paintings, and destroy defensive forcefields created by ghosts"...unusable here, since nobody's in the conditions for the gust to work.

Again, not present in Mario's kit nor on the authorized optional items list.

In Luigi's case, it's written "allows him to suck up ghosts and harness the elements of fire, ice, and water)"...meaning Naruto and Sasuke cannot use Fire and water jutsu (which they wouldn't anyway since sasuke'd try and discover both of them resist it) and Ice Kekkei Genkai, which none of them have. Nothing more than that since Naruto and Sasuke aren't ghosts.

No range is specified for the flute except on their range part, saying "Power-Ups and Items can range from Several Meters to Tens of Meters". So the flute is not practical to use in a battle like this.
For the P-Wing, the Mario wiki describes as
"Super Mario Bros. 3
-Wii Virtual Console manual: "You can fly through a level until you run into an enemy."
-3DS Virtual Console manual: "Allows Mario to fly through an entire level. However, hitting an enemy will cancel this ability."

-Electronic manual: "Allows you to travel instantly to somewhere near the Goal Pole."
Meaning that they would only use this if they wanted a direct attack but...
In Naruto's verse there is a thing called Shunshin no Jutsu (allows Shinobi to greatly enhance their speed by focusing chakra in their feet) would get them outta the way immediately, and it is absolutely IC for them to get out of the range of a direct attack like that...also what would be the "goal pole" here? The item description is like "go forward until the pole" so the pole would be one of them?
Either way, don't think Mario and Luigi are using those things

Wouldn't they have one 1-up each? For the touching thing, Naruto and Sasuke are also battle geniuses, they'd see this happening once at Max and know that if one die, the other cannot touch them or else they'll be revived.

Not on their authorized optional items list or on their standard kit, except for a unknown mean to when they were babies so if they knew how they did it and used it, this would be a self-BFR, therefore, losing.

Actually, they can constantly have up to 99 1-ups max.

I mean they can both become ghost on will and it make it so that the ninjas can't prevent the bros from prevent the bros from reviving each other via contact with the other bro or their standee.

I think what would happen is that, idk, Mario dias and Luigi revives him by touch
Then they prevent, with much work, this from happening again then they just 1-up.
Then they will, even if (Mostly likely not) dieing and dieing, outstamina the Ninjas

"With the Gold Flower. The Gold Flower is also capable of taking out enemies/bosses who are normally resistant, or immune, to the Fire Flower's attacks"

It can also take out enemies immune to fire, but it can also transmute things

I mean, even you said that they are combat genius lol, they would probably create a strategy (this also apply to Mario and Luigi)
 
Gonna note that the Bro could use Magic Window in combination with things like Zone Speed or the Boo Mushroom to get in the one surprise attack they need to win.

So the only things the Bros don't resist are the pain manip, memory manip, and illusions. The pain manip while troublesome is not something the bros can't deal with due to their Stamina. For example; after already enduring a long battle with Bowletta and getting hit with a bomb strong enough to one-shot them they could still go on to fight Cackletta's Soul while only on 1 hp. The Bros have fought peps illusions before so they have experience dealing with them. The Sharingan illusions can be countered by the Bros communicating through their telepathic bond letting the other Bro know what's real and what's fake.

I will vote in the Mario bros for now, they have the AP advantage and some powerful hax like EE, Transmutation, Intangibility, Power Nulification and possibly Time Travel and they can deal with a big part of Naruto´s and Sasuke´s abilities

Also, their fight style (Jumps) is different of what Naruto and Sasuke have ever dealt with before
