My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

Okay I maybe out of the loop but wouldn't everyone be revised after the final smash crt anyway ? Like characters who can hurt Shigaraki would get bumped significantly. Plus All Might would be downgraded from Deku's final smash, which means Nomu's get new stats. And Nomu pretty much are the scale in MHA.

So why are we doing this before the main AP feat of the verse anyone ?

I don't want people bogging up the Final Smash thread about who should scale to what or anything else they can think of.

Especially when the current scaling and reasonings have issues that need to be address.

Not only that but there's a big revision for the lower tier characters I need to get through before I can even do that as well.

Along with new abilities, new keys, and maybe even removing keys.

There's a lot to be done and the Final Smash is the absolute last thing. That CRT will only be about upgrading characters via what calc is accepted and nothing else.

Well then lets finish up with the 3 pending ones we have.

I'm not going to fully trust stuff said by others, not saying they're lying, just that scenes can be misinterpreted.

But even assuming it's true, Time Slow doesn't equal Time Stop, so not it's not infinite speed. Yes, I'm certain you aren't seriously implying that rating.

I'm just making sure in case someone reading this would take it seriously.
On a serious note tho, would this at least provide Gearshift can bypass Gojo’s Infinity…? 🤔

Seriously? No, not at all.

It's just a speed feat, as I explained.
Damn… Well, not like I didn’t figure as much. 😭

So the eye energy does move when he is not it in gearshift and stops moving when he is in Gearshift. Okay okay Nice. I wonder if the rest of the world will stop moving and how will they show Bending reality and stuff. We could get something absolutely wonky for speed scaling.

This and Armored All might are two things I wanna see how they do.

I’m not to keen on the movement going on in the animation, but I HELLA mess with the art going on here!! 💯

Can't tell if he was being facetious or not.

Still think Rewind AFO should scale to prime all Might in some way (like a possibly rateing) given we have no idea how AFO harmed All Might and just have him possibly downscale

The issue is that AFO has his fair share of hax which wouldn't really scale.

But for the moves he used against All Might in the final war, they wouldn't really work on his Prime version given AFO's own comment about All Might always charging through the attacks in his prime. Considering he was shooting the light beam quirk when making that comment, it's almost a guarantee that All Might in his prime could tank it. And this is an attack AFO could not use without the Rewind serum since it destroyed his arms. So Prime AFO probably was not able to use it.

Other things like speed (AFO is just around Hawks' level or even slightly below) and durability place AFO below All Might.

AFO is more like a Mage class while All Might is a Warrior class or Tank.

I just thought about All Might vs AFO, and realized that Hagakure should have heat resistance on her profile. All Might used the Invisi-resin to tank the heat of the laser. Heck, Aoyama should as well considering we have seen his lasers melt through concrete and they shoot out of his stomach.

All Might does as well in his Weakened state and isn't tanking Weakened AFO's attacks. All Might's style is going toe-to-toe, taking damage if necessary.

To make it clear, Prime/Rewind AFO scaling to Prime All Might was already solidly rejected.

There's just no proof that Prime AFO even hurt All Might outside of the attack that blew his stomach away, and we don't know what kind of attack that was. There's no way All Might could "tank" AFO's attacks if he was strong enough to blow straight through his body. It's clear whatever did had to be special in someway.

Also, we have no idea if Prime AFO could take hits from All Might. From what we've seen, it's completely possible the face destroying punch was the only hit he took. Prime AFO spent years hiding from Prime All Might, doing his best to not draw his attention. He was well aware how badly a confrontation between them would end for him.

The only way for Prime/Rewind AFO to scale would be if we actually see the fight. The current statements and vague looks we've gotten are not enough for scaling.

I just remembered, during the fight with Muscular, Izuku was noted to have temporarily removed his natural limiters, suppressing his body's ability to 80%, for a prolonged period of time—hysterical strength—and have been operating "far beyond" even 100% at the time. Could his 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash possibly be given a Small Country level rating based off of that extra 20+%?
Uh, no? This is just talking about basic human limiters, as opposed to One For All percentages.
