really liked the episode but i miss the time when the anime would take some creative liberity with the shot composition. i think having the static power shots works well when argumented with more sleek animation but just static power shots one after another makes the fight feels less dynamic than it should.

this has been a recouring issue since season 4, in an attempt to be faithful to the source and recreate panels they ignore the benefits that come from animation.

Agreed. Honestly, Deku vs Shigaraki could've been better. But I'm satisfied after seeing how they animated some of Deku's Smashes.

I don't think so, no. He is actually put at 4x stronger and has better abilities + AOE asta can't dodge and Deku has faster travel speed.
