Don’t the Nomus have the same regen as Shiggy? Logically this should scale to him then

From what it looks like, the reason Shigaraki probably escaped the blast is because he had just gotten burnt to hell by the lasers, so he was weakened, but the fact that the nomu survived the explosion means shigaraki in a decent state should have survived it, because the nomu took a direct hit from that nuke.

Only way we can get true island or mountain level feats in the future is if Horikoshi sets the fights in deserted islands with mountains, lakes, etc, the whole set and just goes to town with the characters unleashing maximum destruction.
Or even now that most of Japan has been evacuated to special zones, there might be some abandoned cities left for the top tiers to fight in and wreck.

According to the doctor he is inferior to All Might not the rest or the Nomu.

The Dr’s idea of All Might strength is the USJ am who usj nomu is equal to, Dr states that Tomura<All Might. Making him weaker than Usj Nomu.
Usj Nomu is stated weaker than High end nomu. Which is supported by Endeavor getting LOLD by High end while he fight on par with Endeavor.

Garaki then stated High Ends are beyond all other Nomu
Garaki then states Shigaraki isn’t quite as strong as All Might.

Surviving it does not necessarily mean it will scale.
For example Shiggy survived Endeavor's Prominence Burn but took horrific damage from it, so I wouldn't say his durability is equal to Endeavor's Prominence Burn.

Endeavor is weaker than High Ends tho, at least Hood. He just got extremely lucky + can ignore durability with his flames.

Shigaraki is stated to be comparable to a perfected Nomu, with Aizawa flashing back to USJ Nomu and the High End that broke his leg. So Shigaraki is comparable but weaker somewhat via the Doctor’s statement

Shigaraki is weaker than he could be because more strength would’ve turned his brain into doodoo, as Garaki says.
USJ nomu is physically stronger, but it’s so dumb, it doesn’t even have the capacity to fight the cops capturing it on its own will.

Yes, he directly said "Does that mean he's like a perfected nomu." Regardless, there all effectively relative to each other, at worst they all downscale the nuke, but their all relative to each other.

Either:
They are physically weaker, but ”better stats” could be referring to speed, intelligence, aptitude, quirks, etc and faster regen.
Or
They spent more time stabilising in the pot and so aren’t dumb.
