You kind of can't restrict regen or immortality.

as far as i can tell, muzan has far better hax, but i don't think any of it's going to be enough to put kars down. muzan was damaged by (basically) regular swordsmen, and even if the poison injected in him was slowing him down and damaging him, all of the pillar's attacks should also be held accountable for wittling down his durability. meanwhile, ultimate kars is immune to sunlight, and not even throwing him into lava or throwing an entire airplane at him was enough to put him down.
i think kars could either take down muzan by chipping away at him while defending himself via his animal abilities, or he could stall out until the sun rises (assuming this battle takes place at night), in which the sun would kill muzan, leaving kars as the victor.

i meant that they were using pretty much regular swords to kill him. yeah, the nichirin swords are designed to kill demons, but aside from that little bonus, they're still just about your average swords. my point still stands though, as kars seems to have an edge in durability hereSpookyShadow said:

Regular Swords... you mean swords that are specifically designed to kill demons used in combo with insanely strong sword skills and techniques wielded by 8-B to 8-A characters and when Muzan is at full power, these swords do absolutely nothing to him...

alright, i went back to go reread the chapters during muzan's fight
turns out those swords were doing a lot less than i remember them doing, so i'll take back what i said about them being regular swords, my bad

Tanjiro himself stated that the strength of blades depend on the user. He could smack a large boulder in half at the end of his training and Inosuke shaped his own swords with some little rocks.
