Multiverse Theory

Say a Verse is stated to Run on Multiverse Theory. So the question is, does Multiverse Theory represents a Multiverse of infinite number of Universes or does it represent a Multiverse that's layered in 11 Dimensional constructs (String Theory)???

Multiverse just means multipile universes. 11-Dimensional string theory is very specific. Also I learned about string theory from watching Nova, lol.

No, there's no such thing. A multiverse just refers to multiple universes. Most adherents of the theory believe in parallel universes that are still close to ours, and some believe that our universe has collided with other universes in the past.

Timelines are not the same business.
