Abyssal horror is bootleg lovecraft, but, at the same time, dunno how comparable it is

When Rasalom cared enough, he paralyzed Jack to the point that all he could do was breathe. Narration even said he couldn't speak.

That was when Jack tried attacking him.

Probably, considering Jack was a Street level human and Kirito is an obvious...well, swordsman. And also because the other time he paralyzed Jack, he only paralyzed him from the waist down, specifically so that they could engage in conversation. (Because he felt like being a dick to the guy for character-arc reasons, basically)

Having said that, that's like one scenario out of several, so it's not like that's a guarantee that Rasalom wins no matter what.

So how many things would Rasalom be looking forward to doing?

If a lot of them don't stop freeze gg, I'll have to opt for Kirito

Well, offensively:

-Paralysis

-Telekinesis

-A telekinetic blast followed by paralysis while he's down.

-Willing him into exploding:

-Opening a bottomless hole underneath him that drops him into the realm of the Otherness (where something proceeds to drive him mad to the point of him dying on the spot)

-Putting him to sleep with a thought

-Opening a gravity hole above him that proceeds to pull him into space.

Defensively, all he's really got aside from the ability to fly is that aura of his that devours all light in his vicinity and causes people near him to feel cold and afraid. And that only really matters if Kirito doesn't have a way to see in the dark.

Considering he's a spacefairer naturally, Gravity won't work, and Paralysis already has a chance to not work if he doesn't freeze the mouth

And of course, TK won't really instantly put him down, so....

Yeah, looks like it's a quick draw in kirito's favor by statistics and such

Looking back, Incarnation would have been the thing to immediately shutdown Paralysis considering it's the canonical plot armor that has allowed Asuna and Eiji to both not be in system paralysis

which makes this a necro, but, eh, if I can have the last laugh anything's worth it
