First Wednesday fight went well. Hope this works out the same. Scenario: Deus hears of other beings calling themselves 'Deities' and sends Augus out to hunt them down. First on Augus' list is Wednesday . Upon meeting the geezer, Augus is not impressed. Wednesday is offended, and the rest is history.

Win via death or incapacitation. Deus has informed Augus about Wednesday and thus has prior knowledge. Though, Augus is too arrogant to planet bust right off the bat. Wednesday has Vulcan's sword. Speed equalized.

Alright, I'm going to check out Augus's AP real quick before voting.

EDIT: Alright so here's what I remembered.

Augus is far stronger then Wyzen who is Baseline 5A for growing the size of Jupiter.

Wednesday is 5A for being massively stronger then Zorya who turned the Moon into a silver dollar, the old gods are absolutely pathetic compared to the new gods, yet Wednesday was able to one shot Vulcan with the sword.

So, Augus>>>Baseline 5A

Meanwhile Wednesday with Sword>>Vulcan>>>Wednesday in base>>>Zorya, so Wednesday has a good AP advantage.

Personally, considering Augus's desire to have a sword fight, he would absolutely not try to get a cheap victory by planet busting until he knows he can beat Wednesday, but I don't know how much he knows here.

How skilled at swordsmanship is Wednesday?

Don't really know. But what I do know is that Wednesday is literally praised and feared by the New Gods as being the 'Glad-O-War'. So I'm pretty sure his combat prowess shouldn't be too bad.
