Doesn't Doomslayer kinda just immediately oneshot

Raiden scales above 151 Tons while the Doomslayer killed a 782 Ton demon butt naked with a sword before getting armor to make him even more dangerous

Raiden has a sword that can cut through atoms, and if he gets to melee he can use sword mode, which would slow the **** out of DoomBoi and at that point Raiden would just cut him into mince.

So basically this is not a stomp.

Doomguy could kill him with a single punch, but Raiden does have durability negation so that does even things a bit. However, Doomslayer also has a lot more combat experience given his age and he's also quite versatile with some of his power ups. Though, he does prefer to use his guns that are weaker than his own power; he would Glory Kill if he gets close though. He also could use Haste Spheres or the new rune additions to enhance his speed.

Leaning towards Doomslayer for now, but might change my mind given Raiden is also extremely versatile.

Reminder that if Raiden gets close, he can activate Blade Mode, which would massively boost his speed, which would give him plently of time to turn Doomslayer into mince.

It is when it just helps another thing, just saying "lol I trained for two hundred years under the blade" isn't actually indicative of your ability to kill things better than a mook with a gun. Doomslayer just happens to have also wiped out the armies of hell singlehandedly for that entire time.
