Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius. Alakazam is extremely intelligent, smart enough to outperform a supercomputer and perform complex calculations to gain an edge in battles. It is said to have an IQ of 5,000, and never forgets what it learns

The intelligence section on its profile is frankly, really underdetailed. For one, its comparison to a supercomputer is a little dubious:

Pearl	Its highly developed brain is on par with a supercomputer. It can use all forms of psychic abilities.

Shining Pearl	Its highly developed brain is on par with a supercomputer. It can use all forms of psychic abilities.

Y	Its brain can outperform a supercomputer. Its IQ (intelligence quotient) is said to be around 5,000.

Those are just the most recent entries about it; Blue, Red & LeafGreen say it outperforms, but saying it's on par could be because of the passage of time, & Shining Pearl (A 2020s game.) repeating Pearl (A mid-2000s game) could be because remake... but Y, an early 2010s game says it outperforms, so IDK.
(Pokemon games have their own timeline for when things take place that I don't remember AtM, but the entries may have changed the comparison given real world supercomputer improvements. I'm uncertain its meant to be perspective on the Pokemon World's supercomputer technology progress.)

So I'd say a more accurate justification would be something like.

"Said to be on par with or able to outperform a supercomputer, said to remember everything that ever happens to it, can memorize anything, has a thorough memory of everything that has occured in the world, never forgets what it learns, & to have an IQ of 5,000. Calculates many things to gain every edge in battle. Can use all form of all psychic abilities."

& of course there's its brain cells continually multiplying until it dies, but more brain cells =/= more intelligence. & if we consider how well it can perceive the world, being able to heighten all its other senses by closing its eyes may also be noteworthy.

& also that's just BASE Alakazam. As I said, Mega Alakazam, too, which, as a Mega Evolution of Alakazam, is another form of it, & thus has Alakazam's stuff plus more. (Not to mention base Alakazam having every reason to have what is pre-evolutions have.)

Things Mega Alakazam adds:

Moon	Its hidden psychic power has been unleashed. A glance at someone gives it knowledge of the course of that person’s life, from birth to death.
Ultra Sun	It sends out psychic power from the red organ on its forehead to foresee its opponents’ every move.

Not only is he a genius in chemistry but a genius in mechanics, planning, manipulating, and improvisation. He’s constructed bombs, automatic machine guns, fulminated mercury, batteries to jump an entire RV, attempted to fix a heater problem while bored just because it was making a clicking sound that was annoying to him, etc. Most of these things were made in less than a day. He successfully fooled and manipulated Tuco, Gus Fring, Jesse Pinkman, Saul Goodman, etc and takes people like Mike (a professional hitman) off guard several times throughout Breaking Bad. He successfully avoided the DEA with the head of DEA being his brother in law.

There’s so many more examples of his intelligence throughout the show and this is all not to mention the fact that he’s kept the fact that he’s a meth lord from his family and convinced his wife to get in on it.

So, Ozy:
As a kid he was in grades far above his age, and easily mastered martial arts after just a few weeks at the dojo, destroying his bullies physically. As an adult, he easily takes down mobs and criminals. He was accurately able to predict when superheroes would fall out of public favour and retire before then, becoming a billionaire (self-made after he gave up his parent’s money to get his own) and realising the threat of the Cold War. He was able to read every sci-fi piece of media on the planet and formulate a plan to stop the war, taking all the right people for his plan, which was to create a working robotic squid and fake an alien invasion, which he managed to do, and would’ve tricked the world into thinking it was real if Rorschach hadn’t stepped in. While fighting, he formulated every possible outcome in his head and eliminates all the unlikely scenarios before choosing the best path of action, and given that he predicted when superheroes would fall out of public favour, this likely applies to other things beyond just fighting.

He was also able to foresaw into over several billions different possibilities into a fight within a blink of an eye as if he was experiencing time-loop with how much infos he can process, surpassing Satellite There's foresight which can predicted and making various contingencies against borderline impossible events like: Making Shining Hopper Key being compatible Assault Grip(power boost item that only work for A.I.), despite the fact that Assault Grip wasn't even something that hasn't been created, let alone discussed by anyone during the time of Shining Hopper creation. Making and sending a plan to defeat Ark and restarting it own system, as it's system was being taken over by Ark via effectively a backup drive that can only be reactivated after an A.I. reached a Singularity and experiencing one specific emotion that she haven't experienced yet. And was able to noticed DIRECT CHANGE IN HISTORY ITSELF BY AN 8-D TIMELINE REWRITE and make plan to solve the situation the instant it managed to gleam some infos from the MC.
