Ah. I found him ridiculously tough though, like way harder than Kalameet, Artorias and 4 Kings from the 1st game (well, either him or O and S).

But if we are talking about the franchise as a whole, then yeah. I'd say Midir, Flamelurker (i guess) and arguably Friede has him beat.

Yeah, I'd say so since he loves to spam status effect (which is just the "You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas attack" Move) of which can OHK (7-A Giygas Just spams some weird psychic attack that does a lot of damage) your party if you don't have any healing items or Equipments. You have to keep Paula alive. There's also the stupid reflective shield that can't be taken down with Shield Killer in that devils machine phase; if you don't know what you're doing, you're going to have bad time and end up wasting a lot of PP. best thing to do is paralyze Pokey and use Brainshock on Giygas.

As a Ness main, I can tell you that I spam PK Fire a lot, an addition to PK Thunder spam and Flash. Lucas is pretty good with PK Freeze.
