Most hardest character to beat in video games for every tier

@MrKingOfNegativity

Screw Shao Kahn, I hated fighting that guy, he's ridiculous.

I can beat other characters on Hell mode. Kagura is just the dude that knows what you're doing right on the spot.

Funny, I remember having that problem with Unlimited Hazama half of the time.

A lot of Arc System Works fighting game characters, especially bosses, have that issue on the highest difficulty settings. I-No in GGXX Accent Core on the hardest setting is rife with that bullshit.

That reminds me, I-No for 5-C.

5-C Oryx isn't even hard so replace him

Oh dear god not I-No. her ******* full screen plus shaped energy blast that Nine can do is so bullshit to tank.

Quite.

Thankfully, I used to play as Eddie as one of my mains. That little move he has where he sinks into the floor lets him avoid it completely.

5-B: Drakath (AQW) (Version 1) - 5,208,515 HP - Passively reduces player damage - Immune to stun, counter, foresight, DoT, stat debuffs etc - Nulls healing - When HP reaches 1, resets to full health (unkillable)

Ew, the tiers in the OP aren´t in any oder as per the Lists standarts.
I am fixing. Anyone please help.

(And LJN Carnage is pretty challenging and fun too)

And the list is incomplete obviously.

High 2-A: The End of The Cycle

2-A: Vecna

2-B: Dialga

2-C: The Dawn Machine, Orcus

Low 2-C: Dagoth Ur, Hircine, Almalexia

4-B: Oryx, the Taken King(?), Gael

High 4-C: Clownpiece

4-C: Sister Friede, Rodi

High 5-A:

5-A: Orphan Of Kos, The Grox

5-B: Drakath

5-C: Moon Lord, I-No

6-A: The Grox

6-B: Fume Knight

Low 6-B: True Dark Genie

Low 7-C: Carnage (LJN)

8-B: Fortune

9-A: Dr. Hahl's Robot, King Dice

9-B: Dijimi the Great, Matt (Wii Sports)

9-C: Mike Tyson (Punch Out!!)

I feel like there was a harder fight than Dialga. Dialga was strong, sure. But RoT, if you survived it, gave you a free turn against it and it was just one Pokemon.

DARKRAI on the other hand (in Sky though is hard in all versions)...

Asshole groups up against you (so the fight is actually 7 to 3 and they surround your team). They're not weak either and some of them have AoE moves to hit your entire party or status moves.

Spams Nightmare. Puts you to sleep. His ability Bad Dreams passively inflicts damage on you every turn while you're asleep. Furthermore, Nightmare inflicts a shit ton of damage on you once you finally wake up. And that's not counting the fact the other moves he'll use on you.

Speaking of the other moves...Quick Attack can hit from far away. He ALSO has an AoE move in Ominous Wind that can attack the entire party at once and has a chance to raise all of his stats (including speed so he can move twice in a turn until it wears off). And worst of all, Double Team to make the already little damage you're doing to him (it's a boss fight after all) even more negligible as you have to dice roll to even hit him in the first place.

You can't have a team of four because it's a special mission and you're limited to three.

On the subject of three, yeah. Normally it's just you and your partner on special missions, but this time you have to bring along Cresselia. So this is both, a boss fight and an escort mission. Several things about Cresselia. One, she's Psychic type. Darkrai is Dark type. The type that's super-effective on Psychic and the type Psychic can't affect. And as I mentioned above, Darkrai likes to use Ominous Wind (and there's also a Mismagius who's also super-effective on her). Two, Cresselia has a nice habit of jumping in the way of an attack on you or your partner if you're low on health. Cresselia ain't the tankiest Pokemon. It's hard enough to survive alone. You lose if any of your party dies. So not only do you have to keep yourself alive. Not only do you have to keep your partner alive. But you have to keep CRESSELIA alive too. Better have stocked up on those Reviver Seeds (which let's be honest, you used on the way to Darkrai).

Hulk in every Marvel vs Capcom game.

Ness in Smash spamming Side B.

Gehrman from Bloodborne.

Enrico Pucci 8-C

Imagine a fighting game character that after he pulls off a level 3 transformation, he becomes twice as fast as you are normally and your speed is halved, he also speeds up the timer so that the match will end before you can really attack him. The only way is to catch him in supers which both hurt him and run the timer so that you might win.

Since there isn't a "one per series per tier rule", I also say Diavolo for 8-C.

Imagine a boss the can teleport around the arena, deal lots of damage per attack, has long-range attacks by sends pieces of a pillar flying at you and will dodge most of your attacks. There's a reason you only have deal a tenth of his health bar to beat him.

Tier Varies:

This should be all of the suggestions so far.

I also removed any character that is impossible to beat since you should be able to beat them going on the title of this thread.

I don't know if this is just personal experience or if other people have similar experiences, but Kilik in Soulcalibur V, in Legendary Souls mode, is the hardest one to beat hands down, easily harder than all of the other ones combined.

> Video Games

> Vecna and Orcus

> they're from a tabletop

anyways Darkeater Midir > Fume Knight in terms of difficulty for 6-B, same for Nameless King.

NK is easy though, just use black flame and dodge. DS3 also doesn't have ADP so Fume is harder by way of bad mechanic.

Yeah ds2 had a lot of it's difficulty being artificial, if you know what to level (Strength builds was essenitally easy mode) the game is pretty easy unless you get overwhelmed by enemies by accident and even the you can tank thorugh it with the right setup.

Nova Tsukuyomi for 8-C.
Because my god. As one of probably the ten people on this wiki who've played Gunvolt this boss is HARD.
I defeated him without being damaged

Put Asimov,he is impossible in the boss rush, abuse your skills to survive voltaic chains or something but he is ******* overpowered

Is Orcus' fight in Neverwinter even difficult? And AFAIK Vecna appears in exactly 0% of all video games.
