My vote goes to Sun Wukong for his very useful powers. His paralysis would give him a massive edge over Ares especially since Ares has been paralyzed/imprisoned by giants in Greek myth. His 72 resurrections would give him a massive edge. Ares shapeshifting, transmutation and fire manipulation would do nothing.

Wukong has enough firepower and tankiness to solo an entire pantheon of Gods. Dude singlehandedly took out the Chinese/Taoist pantheon and required the Buddha to seal him. Immune to practically all typers of destruction.
I doubt even Zeus could deal with the embodiment of Mankind's rebellious spirit.
