The panel depends on interpretation. You can argue she got hit, but you could also argue she stuck her arm out to catch the laser. That’s kinda why I think we’ll have to wait until the feat gets animated

Go to 1:15:40Look at everything slowly, you see him do a gesture to get the lightning to land. As soon as the lightning formatted and his being shot down you get a black screen the lightning hits the ground and we’re shown with him having the shield up, he has a 2-3 second timeframe to get a shield up before the lightning lands and that’s a maybe. It could be said that throughout that whole interval he was in the lightning strike gesture and instantly changed to a shield when shown

I was thinking that. Cuz the same was said during toru hagakure performed the light refraction feat that she wasn’t really doing anything. Then the anime came out and proved me correct that she refracts light outwards from her body and doing that creates a lightspeed feat.

I do think MHA’s light speed feats are overshadowed by inconsistency. It’s kinda a shame, because I can wank Deku to FTL+ on TikTok, but it wouldn’t slide on VS wiki

We literally cut away and cut back and his shield was up. That proves nothing. He could’ve literally raised the shield right after he got his clouds spinning and we wouldn’t know.

Bro in the vid we literally see him in a position of not throwing up a shield so that’s wrong. We then have a literally timeframe for the amount of time it took before the lightning hit the ground 3 seconds. So between that interval was the amount of time it took for him to use a shield and react

The problem is that Aoyama’s laser doesn’t function like an actual laser. Besides being stated to be light, it only fits 1 of the requirements, and it gets contradicted anyways because his laser has mass.

MHA has a lot of instances where potential Relativistic-LS feats are for artistic purpose. Iida was literally seemingly flattening in the anime in Recipro-Turbo and generated a rainbow, which are phenomenons associated with moving at relativistic speed

Bro they won’t use that at all because it fuels our agenda of having it outside a speed this fandom doesn’t it want it as but today that ends. I’m waiting for someone to debunk how the feat with aoyama and toru isn’t a ls feat. What u said about mass doesn’t matter since it’s not a guideline on here and even if it was I sent a link showing that lasers with enough force can lift objects. Also bringing up realistic source doesn’t matter once again becuz ppl who actually use realistic sources like the sun to use their quirk(toru hagakure) to warp light and refract it off her body to create solar flares has vouched for his beam and said that it’s light. If that wasn’t enough thirteen said the same thing so that point is debunked
