isnt the ORAS Manga supposed to be the novel version of the games anyway? Why would anyone think the same events from the games didnt happen again just in manga form?
 
If the events happened in the manga too I'd be fine with scaling, I think, though this would affect a lot of profiles.

It's not like it's all that inconsistent though, given Mewtwo's high standing and power.
 
This kind of scaling really needs to be put under the microscope, im concerned other verses may follow, or have already done so.

Maybe even a staff CRT so it gets definitively sorted

A long time ago I pointed out the problem with doing this kind of crossmedia scaling and funnily enough, I used mewtwo and Deoxys as a comparison
 
Surviving being impaled is a stamina feat, not a durability feat. If it were a durability feat, his body wouldn't have even been impaled in the first place.

But if this is a legit feat of Mewtwo impaling Deoxys, then he should scale in durability as well, as his body can withstand generating enough energy to harm Deoxys. His durability should scale in that regard, not by Deoxys impaling him.
 
If this battle between Mewtwo and Deoxys occurred in the manga, is there a calculation that brings Deoxys to Moon level or something?

If Deoxys being Moon level only occurs in the games, and not in the manga, is it still correct to set the manga version of Deoxys at Moon level in terms of AP?

Why not find a feat that either Mewtwo or Deoxys did in the manga, and scale the other to the one that did the feat or something?
 
I dont see what the issue here is.

Manga Deoxys would only be moon level for battling Mega Ray in the manga, whos at that level, just like in the games as its the ORAS Manga and we know they fought due to Neo's scan above.

Uh, I think you misunderstood. The delta episode that, as others have said, also occurs in the manga has rayquaza and deoxys fight. That's at the very least 5-C. This is not crossmedia scaling; the delta episode occurred in both the games and the manga.
 
I'm confused what the issue here.

Mewtwo's profile is Composite right? So I don't see why we can't use the Deoxys feat for it.

I dunno much about how strong Deoxys it, but if he has good feats that scale to Mewtwo, that's fine.

And if he regenerated from being impaled, that's High-Low to Low-Mid Regen.
 
Crossmedia scaling should only be allowed if said series supports crossmedia scaling. I don't know if this works here. I believe these are Composite files correct?

It scales because we know this deoxys is just as strong as in-game deoxys due to its battle with rayquaza happening in both the manga and the games. There should be no problem adding this.
 
Im with FD completely. Unless something major comes up to give us reason to deny this, there absolutely shouldnt be any issues with adding this to the appropriate mons.
 
Normal Pokémon aren't scaled to Legendaries even if they're owned. It's an outlier for them whether it's wild or Ash's or Cynthia's.
 
I understand what you are saying.. Please let me quote the reasoning on the profile : " his Mega Charizard X matched and defeated Mewtwo " . This shouldn't be there if he doesn't scale to Mewtwo as a whole, not because he "caught" him .
 
It was absolutely a stomp.

Death Vader can't win period, this is all deicounting Yvetal starting with that attack.
