This should be pretty fair all things considered

Both at Low 7-C

Both fight in heaven's arena 20 meters apart

Meruem knows that Jed's blood is dangerous but doesn't know anything else

I suppose Meruem could use pressure point strikes since he's probably faster than Jed. But if he injures him in any way he's gonna get corrupted.
 
He's slightly aware of his blood being dangerous so he'll try to avoid that if he can, but he doesn't know anything else about it besides that.
 
I think I'll wait for more input because Jed is the only character in HxH that could legit beat Meruem (Pre-Rose at least) in a fight.
 
Wouldn't Meruem just blitz and decapitate Jed or am I missing something? I mean Jed is at best comparable to old Netero, since Young Netero destroyed him. And we know how badly Meruem stomped Netero, whose defense is a lot tighter anyway.

Unless I'm missing something, I vote for the insect who shouldn't look down humans lol.

He absolutely did man. He wasn't even trying to kill him, and only felt dull pain after thousands of punches. Not to mention he tanked zero hand with minimal injuries. Old Netero might beat Pitou high diff but nothing more.
 
If that's the case then Meruem takes this. I thought Jed would win because if Meruem injured him then he would immediately get corrupted. Meruem just doesn't have to hold back then. I'm voting Meruem.
 
Besides Meruem has no qualms about removing his own limbs, so even if the blood gets on him... self mutilation might be a good idea....? Lol..

yea if Meruem plays around like he did with Netero he might lose, but then again Netero was a special case for obvious reasons.
 
Jed does have a similar yet stronger nen abilty to Netero so he could wall him out like he did while doing more damage
 
well that saves this from being a stomp like you said, but personally i still think Meruem's strength, speed, and intelligence advantage is going to be Overwhelming.

yea I agree. in fact there's a few scenarios in which Meruem outright loses, so it's not a stomp imo.
