Not that hard to figure how.

Tao's a master of martial arts, and in terms of AP he shouldn't be weaker than Stain. He one shotted a 3.72 Ton character with his tongue. Can Tao avoid being cut a single time before killing Stain? If so than he wins. If not than Stain wins.

Dragon Ball is a pretty heavy martial arts series, so I imagine Tao's combat skills might be too much for Stain. But I don't remember much of Dragon Ball, so I'll wait for actual knowledgeable people before making any heavy judgements. But what is more likely, Stain cutting him once vs Tao defeating him while avoiding any injury.

I think Tao wins this one. He's a master martial artist who has decades of experience and the one who taught Tien Shinhan. Not only that, but he also possesses energy projection, specifically the Dodon Ray, so even if Tao gets paralyzed, he could still catch Stain by surprise and fire his energy beams from his finger.

Not going to mention skill. Since I don't know Tao, him being more likely to beat Stain vs Stain hitting him once is something I can't comment on.

But he can't move when under Stain's Quirk. He'd be laying on the ground, his fingers cannot move either. Unless he landed on the ground in a certain way that had his finger pointing at Stain's vital spots. I don't see how that'd be any kind of threat whatsoever, if he gets paralyzed.

Landing in such a way seems highly unlikely. Though once again, that is only if Stain can get a single hit in. Which I do not know and will not comment on.

During the fight with Stain, you can notice that Tenya's fingers move: when he was first paralyzed, both his hands were balled into fists, but when Shoto arrived and started fighting Stain, Tenya's fingers were spread out, proving that Stain's paralysis isn't absolute. Even that small limited motion could be enough for Tao to land a surprise attack on Stain with the Dodon Ray.

It isn't particularly unbelievable that Tao doesn't get hit by Stain, he didn't while fighting General Blue for example, and did so while having a severe handicap.

Tao FRA though

This is incorrect, as that twitching only happens when the effect of his Quirk starts to wear off. Izuku twitched his fingers and realized the paralysis was becoming undone. Since couldn't twitch them before. Iida's twitch happens like a few seconds before he stood up.

Before hand, all Iida or anyone else visible did was some slight trembling. If Tao does get frozen, that fight is over. He cannot point at him or do anything.

However if people believe Tao has a better chance at killing Stain vs Stain landing a single hit on him, that is fine.

I won't vote on that, but won't argue against it as I do not know DB by all that much.

If you want Rusty, I can get you the scene, its only one fight :V

You can judge for yourself then

go to 1:32

Tao pai pai should be able to resist stain's quirk ability
We don't accept anime filler as canon.

Blue never got the chance to use his powers on Tao in the actual manga, which is what are profiles are based off of.

People are forgetting that all stain needs is a single hit, and it's game over. Even a slight graze with his sword will get him blood to paralyze Tao. He gave Deku a cut the size of a paper cut and was able to paralyze him. I doubt Tao will put him down before Stain gets at least a drop of blood. Not to mention, Stain has a very high pain threshold.
I forgot to mention that Stain has been able to avoid surprise attacks such as, when he tried to lick a cut on shoto’s face, the latter activated his fire quirk at the very last second to which Stain was able to evade (as seen here)
