You hate medaka, right?

Arceus in an unholy stomp. All fiction and Encounter are no match for someone who can effectively create concepts.
 
Well for one, Medeka at her strongest is only Possibly Low 2-C while Incomplete Arceus is At-Least Low 2-C. Following that, she has unbelievebly lower Durability that would allow Arceus in any format to just one shot her and finally, her hax is no where near the kind Arceus has and even with All-Fiction and The Encounter, which someone mentioned is extreme NLF, it stands absolutely no chance against Conceptual Manipulation.

So in all, Arceus takes this 10/10 without any notable issues. Thats what makes it a stomp (to me anyway).
 
Comparing SM to Arceus now? The Omnipotent ability allows Arceus to bypass defenses bonuses and resistances, making TE irrelevant(TE reflecting attacks from a Low 2-C in NLF anyways). Therefore this match is a stomp.

He never compared Arceus to SM he was comparing the arguments...

It gives you insight on how they are used in a vs battle. Thus allowing you to judge how the ability "could" apply to other fights. The files don't tell you if an ability's limits....
 
Again, how does a VS thread give you insight for another matchup? They literally have a character profile for a reason. There's no way Arceus can potentially lose making it a stomp thread.

Did you see me ever say Medaka could win? No, I did not. Also read my post again. I gave you the answer to that question.
 
I never mentioned you so what exactly are you on about? The character's profile give an in-depth description of a abilities. You're not understanding what I'm saying so I'll repeat it more clearly. How does Medaka vs SM gives you more insight in regards to Medaka vs Arceus who is significantly stronger and bypasses defense bonuses and resistances.
 
You do not know the limits of some abilities until you vs debate with them. That is usually when it is decided that something is effective or ineffective against certain tiers or types of opponents. Profiles DO NOT (pay attention to this) always have the EXACT limits of the power. vs SM is only useful for MEDAKA as it gives the OP an idea of MEDAKA'S powers. That is how it effects this fight.

Implying I said anything about who would win. YOU assumed we were comparing Arceus to Sailor Moon. In which I was letting you know we were not. Get what I'm "on about" now?
 
Huh... Please don't tell me your saying characters limitations aren't known until they're in VS debates. If a character's ability hasn't shown limitations/weaknesses then it's NLF, simple as that. Arceus stomping is a consensus in this thread, I simply stated a fact. If you thought I was implying something else then sorry :]

I clearly said " do not ALWAYS" which means not 100% of the time. As shown with MANY files on this site. Especially if you ARE NOT familiar with said verse or character....

Not 100% true either. Arceus' plates are an example.

If a character's profile doesn't have the proper information, then it's the creator fault. Arceus' plates are well-defined, his profile not explaining them isn't my fault. Who disagreed with Arceus winning? I wasn't talking to you when I stated that, why mention that quote anyway?
 
Do you read what I type? Seriously I feel like you are ignoring everything I say. I've typed it several times. Clearly I am going through you points and thats what I do. I post the quote and then I respond, can I not mention quotes now?. This is really irritating me. All I was trying to say is that using another vs battle can effect how a OP views a battle as someone not familiar with the verse or hax in question can see how far it can go. That is all you are the one who started this tangent. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what I stated. I never blamed you for it either. Read what I say next time. Read it over multple times if need be. Because I am constantly repeating myself. This is grating on my nerves.

Either way, you shouldn't be making statements like, "Translation: My argument got destroyed so now I'm mad."

Even if Dragonmaster overstepped his bounds and lost his temper, that does not give you the freedom to insult or deride him in any way.

Two wrongs do not make a right.
 
I admit I lost my temper in which I shouldn't have. But in the end you still ignored the simple points I was trying to make. Which was really annoying me.
 
You have not refuted anything. None of my points were even to be debated. At all. It was just a simple point.
 
Personally, I'm siding with Dragonmaster's argument.

All Dragonmaster said was the fact that the way abilities are used in VS Debates tend to be how they are used in other debates since they set a precedent and limits. Otherwise we could just say "The Encounter stops your everything" and be a stubborn brick wall, thus the Sailor Moon example.

Either way, this is quickly devolving into a flame war. If things don't shape up soon I will close this thread and be done with it.
 
If anyone should be upset, it should be me. I wanted to make a fun match, and it involved into a war about whether this was a stomp match or not. I'm appalled at how this turned out. If anyone wants to remake this for whatever reason, go ahead, but his is being closed, and unfortunately, it's not for the reason it was originally.
