It might just be a past Zeus like what they did with young Odin last season. But I REALLY hope this Zeus will play enough of a big part that he can have his own profile and if that's the case, I'm calling dibs on him

all I pray is they show that either 1 the mcu gods get some crazy feats or 2 they show that they scale to celestials because they were at omnipotent city for a reason and if the gods were so much fodder to them it wouldn’t make sense for them to be hanging around where the most powerful gods are also 3 I want to see Stormbreaker in what if we have yet to see it

Poster for the season. I notice Arishem somehow has an entire letter dedicated to him. That might imply he has a pretty big role in the season. God I wish they could confirm he's some kind of unique being who doesn't have variants but is the same across the entire Multiverse. Also, Eternals coming back? YES! Considering Ikaris has a spot on the poster, they might actually have a big role in the plot, which is more than fine to me

Also, who is the purple lady? The one we see repeatedly floating and casting lightning
More like white lady in the T part of the poster. I honestly have no idea of who that's supposed to be

Edit: Nevermind, I got my answer. Apparently, it's Agatha Harkness who somehow got the powers of the Eternals

I wish they could have that to. Zeus in particular. I wish we could see a prime Zeus, judging by what is said about him, dude was a monster in his prime. The trailer has an entire shot dedicated to him so maybe he'll be an important character

Is actually unbelievable how hype this is mcu has been so dry for so long and now we are getting a bunch of cosmic characters appearing in 1 season

Marvel finally deciding to further with the cosmic scale of their cinematic universe and giving us more overpowered characters is welcome

Agatha absorbing the power of a Celestial/The Eternals is peak
Fr, I can't wait to see how she did it, did she used her powers normally or was it under specific circumtances?

Also, a brief shot of the trailer is Mysterio with multiple tubes in his head, wonder what will happen

I never realized this but aren’t Toothgrinder and Toothgnasher the pet goats the fastest character in the mcu They dragged that longboat at Bifrost tier speed and the bifrost was increased to be 200% faster in L&T

Hey, I have an idea: why don't we create a Dark Lord category? It's a fairly well-known and kind of iconic villain archetype and specific enough so that not every villain should be thrown into it yet large enough that a lot of characters can fit

So the celestial at omnipotent were definitely confirmed gods which is why they were there and Zeus was their leader as he leads the entirety of omnipotent city this means if we have any statement about Thor being one of if not the strongest god he’s celestial tier as he would scale to at minimum the two celestial at the city and according to Thor

Thor: We could pull together the greatest team ever. We could recruit Ra, Hercules, Tūmatauenga. Quetzalcoatl, maybe. And Zeus, the oldest and wisest of them all.

Thor considers those to be the top tiers at omnipotent city meaning they should all should scale to the two celestials at omnipotent city or no for being at the top of the hierarchy among gods

Maybe. Though he certainly wouldn't scale to Arishem

In any case, if we go that way (and IF), then Thor and Zeus would both be 3-B along with Gorr, Jane, Thunderbolt, Mjolnir and Stormbreaker

This also goes with a line thor says Thor states omnipotent city is home of the most powerful creation gods and what do celestials do? They create things

True. Then again he would "only" scale to regular Celestials, not Arishem. But that's already pretty big of an upgrade if that happens

This site just loses all sense of reasoning when it comes to Thor like stormbreaker is still planet tier despite it being stated not once not twice not 3 times but 4 times to be above the gauntlet

I have nothing to say about the Gauntlet but if by showing the concept art you imply that this is Arishem on the picture thus implying Thor/Zeus, etc > Arishem, then no. First because Arishem is not even there in the actual scene in the movie and second, because he scales way above other Celestials and nothing implies any of them is capable of replicating his feat of causing the Big Bang and there's even less evidence than Thor, Zeus or any of the other gods would scale above that. And even putting him on the same tier as the Celestials can be seen as shaky and unjustified (I'm not against it personally but we'd need a LOT of solid evidences for that)

Why do you even keep bringing up Arishem are you his biggest fan or something I didn’t even mention him 😭😭😭

Arishem isn’t a resident of omnipotent city we only have evidence that those two are this scaling only applies to those two

I mean, I'm a big fan but that's not the idea

I mention him just in case someone would try to use your point to say Thor would be above him, via the idea of "If Omnipotent City welcomes the strongest gods and Arishem isn't there, then Arishem isn't as strong as the gods there, therefore Thor must scale above"

They way I see it it’s pretty clear cut that they scale to at least those two specifically as of now tho Arishem or any other celestial we don’t have evidence they are a resident of omnipotent city

I mean do you see problem scaling them to those because why not mention them in the fight against Gorr if they are head and shoulders above the gods? Instead thor names other gods even tho they are explicitly a resident there and confirmed creation gods
The main problem, is as I said before, that Thor doesn't necessarily knows about Celestials in general. Thor is not omniscient and the Zeus case alone illustrates he doesn't know the gods as well as he thinks he does. Maybe he just assumes they're gods like any other, just different physically (remember there's a dragon among the gods for example). The fact that they're at all means they're at least seen as gods but they clearly don't obey to the same rules as other gods in general do, their power are specifically geared toward their goal of building up blocks of reality and galaxies to expand the universe, which is something no "proper" god shows in general. Even Thor or Odin at his prime doesn't. Granted not all gods have the same abilities but Celestials are very specific in powerset and nature so far. Of course, not all Celestials are necessarily on the same level or scope even without using Arishem as an example. And we don't even know if they properly reside in Omnipotence City or if they've come here for an unspecified reason (remember that Omnipotence City is all about comparing sacrifices and orgies and again, Celestials's entire existence is geared toward a very specific, primordial goal and Arishem seems to watch over pretty closely to them doing their job properly).

Like I said, I'm not specifically against it and I wish Thor was higher but this specific aspect seems too vague to properly establish a tier and make such an upgrade happen unless we have a shit ton of evidence

He does Thor is basically an encyclopedia of gods even knowing the weak ones like the god of dumplings the two celestial there are confirmed gods they are residents of omnipotent city home of the most powerful creation gods they clearly show up to there meetings meaning they are known Thor would know if there are gods that heavily outclassed his list like the two celestials

Zeus doesn’t really debunk anything he just didn’t think Zeus would be so scared which isn’t a side he shows to anyone

What does this even mean if Thor says omnipotent city is home of the most powerful creation gods then either he’s talking about them two specifically or other gods create things exactly like celestials even one of the fodder ones khonshu was turning back the night sky which means he can effect things on the galactic level just like celestials which is a celestial level feat

I mean we know enough 2 gods celestials are residents of the city Thor names the strongest gods what else do you think we need ? To get this accepted

No point there is like like 50 different active crt and none of them have been accepted because mcu is so dry the mods don’t come to this part of the site anymore to accept them
