Loki says Asgardians live 5000 years more than humans, so 5071.4 years. If we use Odin's actor's age and use Thor's age to calc the aging rate of Asgardians, Odin would also be 5535 to 5564 years old in 2017.

However, Thor said he defeated Surtur 500 000 years ago. Was he exaggerating?

Maybe he extends his longevity with the Odin force. Though it is somewhat possible Thor 1 contradicts this when Odin talks about the mortality of Asgardians.

Loki - Give or take 5000 years.

So 5071.4

If we use Thor's ages, 1053 and 1500 to scale using real-life actors, Odin is 5535 to 5564.

Doubt Odin is 500 000

Found some information that fits in line with the 5000 year stuff.

5000 makes sense because Odin was born somewhere after the Svartalfheim war during the first Convergence, which happens every 5000 years, and, as we both know, Odin was there for the second. So Odin isn't even 5000.

We see during a flashback in Thor 1 where Odin looks about a decade younger ~1,000 years ago, so he still ages at the same rate normal Asgardians do.

The MCU wiki has math that places his age at around 5,500 during the events of Thor: Ragnarok (Give or take 5 years).

@The Everlasting That math took Loki's age into account, and uses Thor's age as 1053, while he is also said to be 1500. I think we shouldn't take Loki into account, he's a frost giant after all, and using both ages for Thor (1053 and 1500) to recalc that calculation, I got Odin to be 5535 to 5564 years old at the time of his death.

Still in tha trange. I doubt Odin is half a million years old.

The thing is, Loki's rate of aging is similar enough to an Asgardian to where he still ages at a visibly comparable rate (He never looks significantly younger or older). In addition, we have a definitive birth date for Loki, and Thor says there was a time when they were both 8 (When Loki turned into a snake, so they're still around the same age.

Thor was almost definitely exaggerating with that statement, regardless.

But the fact Loki simply isn't an Asgardian, using Thor would be more reliable.

If Thor's 1053 then Odin's 5535 when he died. 5564 if Thor's 1500.

The calc for his age is just fan theory though, it also takes into account of the real life age of the actors, I'm not sure if it can be uses.
