Its not to no where, magic is a fundamental thing, if a character can resist magic (fundamental aspect), he can resist most of the things that comes from it, same as Haki, I was just answering DT question

Just skimming I can tell this thread has veered way of course ¯\(ツ)/¯



In an attempt to get this back on track cannot we just apply this and call it a day

Armament Haki, also known as ‎Busoshoku Haki, allows the user to actively use their Aura as a shield and a weapon. This type of Haki grants its user varying levels of Forcefield Creation, Statistics Amplification, Elemental IntangibilityNegation, Attack Reflection, Body Control, Resistance Negation, Transmutation, Regeneration Negation (Mid), and Resistance to Spatial Manipulation, Teleportation, and to Resistance Negation. Resistance to abilities that come from devil fruits.​

Keeping in mind "resistance" means any value >0. They can still be hurt by flames, or they may even be destroyed by the ability if the resistance is minimal (Pre TS Lucci VS Boro Breath) . Similarly they might "negate" the ability such as intangibility or they might not fail to bypass the fruit power altogether because even though they have a value >0, that value is still far lower than the ability they are targeting (Ie Doffy vs Luffy).

Counter Proposals

"Count only abilities which have been shown."​

"List every independant ability of all devil fruits"​

These are frankly stupid. We don't assume TSO of Naruto destroy only some ninjutsu that are shown. Nor do we assume that because it destroys a water attack created by Ninjutsu that it can destroy water produced another way. I am quite sure Rayleigh and others did not mean something like:

"I have expereinced every single Devil Fruit ability and I can tell you that Haki happens to counter each one despite them being otherwise unrelated. Haki does not counter other abilitites though. Just the ones which happen to have a devil fruit variant."

or

"Haki resists 100 different abilitites. Just so happens those are also the abilitties of the ones I have seen first hand. Funny coinscidence. Also I must stress it only resisst some, and I don't know if it resists amm abilitties als associated with devil fruits."

It should really be that simple.

I guess I agree but resistance to all devil fruit won’t cover Elemental Intangibility Negation, attack reflection, body control… I think just remove Resistance to Spatial Manipulation, Teleportation… and then just add something like this Resistance to Resistance Negation and to abilities that come from Devil Fruits.
