Yu only has access to Izanagi, and just Izanagi.

Only Izanagi? This is surprisingly close then, leaning towards Lucina.

These are the skills Yu has access to by default. Lucina is about 3x stronger but Yu can buff himself and debuff Lucina to close that gap a little bit. Yu is smart enough to abuse his range advantage with zio, and Lucina's magic resistance isn't the greatest but dodging is a thing, and Lucina is more than familiar with lightning magic. Lucina is also more experienced, having fought for several years as opposed to Yu's 1, and is arguably the better swordsman. Her healing will keep her in the battle long enough to gain the upper hand and put that experience gap to good use.

I'd vote Lucina with mid-high difficulty. (Though it'd obviously be a different story if Yu had access to other personas).

Yeah, i dont think should be considered "restricting Yu", since he is mostly seen only using izanagi against most foes, and that is his canon persona, after all.

He would most likely stomp with all of the other personas, so i do think this should be fair enough.

Well he is also shown to switch personas just as much, but I think it should be fine to restrict him to only Izanagi since that's his usual go to choice in-character and other personas are completely optional.

I dunno, madoka chars are pretty ******* haxed, but that kinda gets a bit more fair if you allow Yu to use all of his personas.

Lucina FRA, also, her Regenerationn is about to be upgraded to High-Low at some point.

Bolganone and Lightning bolts among other things theoretically cause third degree burns on many places; regenerating from that would be High-Low. Also, Sword and knife stabs usually do cause scars and all that so that so that alone is Mid-Low. Also there are consistencies of characters suffering extremely fatal wounds that happen in the actual story, in which staves have shown to completely restore wounds on that level. Skills such Renewal can also heal those same wounds naturally. So most RPG characters who currently Low Regenerationn should really have more like High-Low.

Magical Lightning.

No one is seen burning or electrocuted in FEA. Maybe if you were to scale her to the FE4 BBQ, but even then, they didnt regen. The ones that survived barely made it and needdd to be healed back to health.

Actually, there are scientific properties that portray Lightning tomes are real lightning; such as it coming from a cloud. Also, censorship of an E-rated game doesn't mean they canonically did receive wounds like that. Also, they've been shown to heal from being stabbed through the gut or in the chest; getting stabbed without blood showing is game mechanics. Renewal and other abilities scale to Staves and Vulneraries because it's the same concept.
