He showed using his freeze three, maybe four (the fourth one is really minor) times:
1st Time: He froze PoH when waking up from his coma
2nd Time: He flash-froze Subtilizer
3rd Time: He froze the Abyssal Horror which is a creature who is acclimated to the extremely cold environment of space
“Release recollection!!”

Blinding light burned the imagepanel stark white.

When the image immediately returned, at its center it was possible to see several streaks of bluish-white light shooting from the blade raised by the swordsman and rocketing towards the Abyssal Horror.

Those lights were as thin as fibers compared to the space beast’s gargantuan form, but when they struck and wrapped around it, the beast’s speed of assault became visibly attenuated. The frantic motions of its freely wriggling 12 tentacles became stiff. Almost as if they had frozen.

But that was impossible. The Abyssal Horror was a creature acclimated to the extremely cold environment of space. It was impossible to create a chill colder than the temperature of space.

Steeka’s stupefaction was immediately blown away by Laura’nei’s murmuring in her ear.

“That’s… That’s the «Armament Full Control Art»… No, the «Memory Release Art»…?”

“What?… Only highest-level Machinists can use that!”

Kirito: Multi-Solar System level with Incarnation and Release Recollection (At the very least comparable to his and Subtilizer's previous peak in power. Sent ripples across the stars and shook space around him in his fight against the Abyssal Horror)
Mario: Multi-Solar System level (Can defeat users of the Power Stars, which can create pocket dimensions full of stars. Can harm Power Moon users, which are comparable to Power Stars. Fought King Boo who created several realms with many stars)
Yep, Mario is far better
 
ofc mario has a higher ap thank god this isnt power star mario who would just upon retry clocking the first time would pull out the 3d ee

Actually, Kirito shook the universe and sent ripples across the innumerable stars

also he could likely not even see mario so mario could sneak up on him, flip again and one tap or raise his eyebrow cause it seems in verse that if you have a 256x boost or higher you should be able to just ap one shot with simple exertions of force

Can he get pasts a strong passive barrier that prevents weapons from harming him? And Kirito can create how many forcefields he wants with incarnation which is passive.

incon is only if mario's haxes didnt work in 3d while he was 2d and if mario couldnt beat him with his other haxes which he likely can, now for the 2d stuff i think from memory his haxes work in 3d while he is 2d , but if they dont, star spirits and crystal stars do since it is summoning their power or the artefact to use its power to haxes/ap something so these should work on haxing/aping kirito while he is 2d and for the ap part, mario is 300x stronger than him, not including an equipment he has that would buff his ap mario could raise his eyebrow and the shockwaves would break his barriers and kill him

at the very least sleep manip,aping,stat debuffs, time stop, transmutattion and bfr, more aping, more time stop, aping with dura neg, death manip, and aping with dura neg again, also i forgot he should have zeekeeper egg who should be able to summon this guy to ap even harder
 
the moment he soul destroys the retry clock/s kick in so unless it is instant and happens the next exact moment after he uses soul destruction that is getting noped also mario has resistance to power null
