how does the Holy effect work in EBF, cuz I thought it's mostly effective against "evil forces" and the like; Mario's only been good-natured, so unless it's just as effective against people like him then nevermind

the Bone Blade should be negligible, since Mario has resistance to stat reduction (unless it's layered)

same with the Blood Blade, as Mario's got ways to continuously heal (Doctor Socks, Nurse Socks, and Guardian Socks along with an endless supply of healing items)

granted, the effects wouldn't matter since Mario would just get one-shot by the sheer AP if he gets hit, resurrect, then use any of his insta-win options

Resists in EBF are weird. You'd mostly be correct, but there are Wraith types (usually "evil" entities) that absorb Holy magic, and the Cosmic Monolith, the thing that is literally about to burst with dark energy.....isnt even scratched by it. I cant tell ya

So, in that regard, it should technically work, but if not, then Matt's just gonna pull out a non-elemental sword and continue swinging away
(but yeah i do agree with that last sentiment)

That comes to the next thing....uh- how does Matt get past the frankly absurd (and probably infinite) amount of revival skills/items Mario has. That might be a small issue frankly- unless Mario just gets back up in the same spot to get cut down again

his best bet would probably be just hacking at Mario as soon as he revives again, but even that might not last due to all the aforementioned stuff in prior posts (that isn't to mention Mario outskills heavily, if what Psycho said was true)

Earlier Times and Retry Clock would also rewind the fight back to its beginning, so they'd be back at SBA's distance. Or, at least Mario would

starting to think this is a mismatch for either side

I have a question about the Retry Clock/Earlier Times thing. Does Mario remember the fight before it gets rewound back, or not? If so, that may solidify things for him here. if not...uhhhhh

Yeah i might have to give this one to Mario here. Wouldnt be a total stomp (at lease i hope), but im pretty sure Mario's gonna get sick and tired of getting his crap rocked and just send Matt to the EE dimension
it'll be even worse if its Empowered by DL Mario vs EBF5 Matt because then Mario gets the obscene stat difference
