Lavos' best options are either Absorption, BFR and Power Null via Omnilock.

Absorption is rendered moot due to the regenerative capabilities of the Gods allowing them to return after being absorbed, as seen in Skyrim where Barbas is capable of resurrecting after being killed and absorbed back into Clavicus Vile (Note that Barbas was created when Vile split half of his Animus into a separate being, so Barbas returning after being reabsorbed by him is a really impressive feat)

BFR isn't doing much since Vivec has Low 1-C range via travelling from Mundus to Oblivion and back

Power Null is a possibility.

Then again, this is still Inconclusive since Vivec isn't getting past Lavos' nonexistent physiology thingy.
