A human using it can easily kill animals listed as 9-B here. Should it be upgraded, or just stated on the profile?

I know, but people have killed crocodiles and gorillas with them I believe

With enought time and strikes, or a clear strike in a vital part can will a big animal. Also, I find a human killing a gorilla with a machete in normal conditions hard to believe.

Would it be able to penetrate their skin and would the human live long enough to it through

Machetes always looked and acted more deadly than other melee weapons I've seen in general. I mean in a few slices or stats. I believe people have killed lions with machetes before also but I'll look for confirmation

Most of animals are still made of flesh, so just cutting through them do not merit an upgrade.

Would it count to say that it can cut through 9-C beings via slicing?
