Lupin III Discussion Thread (2)

Oh hey, no worries. Life comes first, and college is especially something that takes up a lot of time. Do what you need to
Yeah I am uncountably busy. I'm not on the right head to reply here right now I'm sorry Fireld and everyone. I was flabbergasted with the shooting star feat too, I... Cannot be the only one. I swear, I know somewhere in my heart that we can get Lupawn much higher (so higher), and with the inclusion of "No Canon" we may have the freedom of so much more, but right now stuff are up in the air. That's all I will say now, I'm afraid I will be busy, but if things are aligned, I swear I will give Lupawn the respect he deserves.

On that, anyone know of any other cutting feats of Goemon that could also support the 'possibly City Block level' AP on his page?

For example, has this been calculated?
Ah man, I was just going to calculate this this morning finally, and the gif seems to no longer be working, including on his profile.

Anyone know a youtube clip, or similar video source of the scene where Goemon cuts the bridge? Been looking to no avail.

Btw, there are A BUNCH of Goemon cutting feats bigger then this, preventing Pewdiepie's canon event would be considered another "Worthless Object" to him again, but hey I understand the need to Calc certain feats from the current rating just in case as it is. Apparently cutting a nuke couldn't be done as it is? I mean given Goemon's properties as it is, I wouldn't be surprised if he did absorb certain volatile elements as it is.
After clicking on the link, did you try clicking enter on the url bar? It worked for me
I cannot see it neither unfortunately.

Has anyone calced the time he cut the golden gate bridge?

Bruh, I'm surprised that such a MASSIVE BRIDGE can only get one 9-A, but okay xD

Also 9-A.
Yeah, I'm surprised too, but it makes sense given cuts are always going to yield far less cc than normal fragmentation due to the blade width being used usually only ranging from 0.67 - 1 cm.

In that regard, while the golden bridge cut is also impressive, it likely wouldn't yield much more than 9-B, let alone 9-A since it's only one cut.

I had a hunch, yes... But even then I can't help it. The next thing we have going for are the explosions, which apparently the same Sorcerer game has somewhere, amongst other calcs I recommended to you... If those don't get any higher then something ain't right this time.

Maybe you can calc Hawks AP (His blows to an engine were strong enough to rattle a large casino ship)

or how about since Lupin was a child had him scale to this alone:
Finally an actual good durability feat, from Gaucho the Wolf Hunter.

The guy survived getting indirectly hit by a battleship's main gun, which was powerful enough to blow up the battleship's main headquarters along with crack the ship in half.
Then again, I have more that I sent to you should this fail to rack up something truly notable.

This could absolutely yield some impressive results. Only issue would be I'd need either at least one scene to pixel scale the casino ship, or the average size of such a ship to meaningfully assess the amount of the metal vessel being vibrated. Can just use a scene of the shaking and head height for the vibration part.

Have a lot of irl obligations going on rn and stuff, but I'll try to get to some of these, and respond soon!

I'll try to see if I can have access to Goemom's Bloodspray and check it out if I can.

I found the thing Stretch needs, but is it possible for me to send links here regarding a certain site "Nein Anime"? If not, then I may have a problem. I might need to screenshot... Is this okay? I cannot seem to find the download button anywhere.

Oh yeah, if you can get the ship and buildings, that'd have to at least be city block level for the buildings, and likely 8-A with the whole ship xD
Okay so for now I can only screenshot, here is the ship in different angles:

Great images! Last thing I'd ask is the location? That mountain in the first, I want to say, looks like Fuji Volcano, which if it is I can pixel scale the rest easy (mountain used to find ship length+ depth, building height, then building height used to find ship width and relative building width + length)
Honestly, it doesn't say unless I missed something. However, it also seems that you did not miss the mark, as it does seem to be Japanese based location, even most of the Casino in the film has Japanese gambling of sorts (you can see the film from the site I mentioned: "Nein" is "9" followed by "anime", put them together, type in Goemon's Bloodspray and you'll find the film to view freely. The forum censors the word so I gave you further answers to your queries).

It's all good. Knowing it is a safe assumption that this is Mt. Fuji, I can probably make a calculation on the energy required to shake both the boat, and the buildings pretty soon! Thanks again for the help.

Okay, well, this currently as far as I can go as I too will be very busy. I already gave you the site so you can do your deductions justly from there.

Also I got allured by Goemon's Bloodspray, there is more to Hawk as it is: Blud can deflect bullets right behind him, leave them sort of suspended in mid-air and deflect them back at Zeni who was in extreme pain despite of his Pain Tolerance, and Goemon managed to still stand his ground with this guy. Lupin also shows further useful Information Analysis as he deduced the machinations of Goemon's Sixth Sense and basically what he was doing this whole time, unlocking his fastest sense Lupawn calls "The Realm of the Buddha". In fact Goemon also sent a vison to Hawk... Somehow...

So further Journey to the Weast tier stuff too I guess.

I already shared this with Stretch and Fireld, but I was listening to Marvel Ruins again, it has Creepypasta vibes written all over it and I admittedly love it. Said twisted universe had me thinking... What would other characters (Anime related or not doesn't matter) Be if they had the same Ruins twist? Just in time for Hallows Eve as well, so here is what I cooked up, revamped edition:
• In such worst case scenario - The "Lupin lll" we know, isn't actually who we thought. In a Ruins Universe there never was a "Lupin Ancestry" Simply there was a random but merciless insane low life robber masquerading the Lupin name due to later stalking (Also doing the "Yikes" in the Manga, but somehow far worse, not even an attempt in good Dark Humor) and killing an innocent women "F. Mine" who had an Arsene Lupin book. Inspired yet arrogantly thinking they were one of the same coin, the now codenamed "Lupin lll" was still relatively okay in experience relying on 'disguises'... uncanny so to say... As he skinned the victims to do so...Alive, even under other undesirable things too repulsive to describe here. Going as far to deform his face to the point of looking "Monkey-Like" (NOT IN A "FUNNY" WAY NEITHER. Monkey Like can be really "Stretching it" in certain angles) to stay ever changing and intimidating in the underground world amongst authorities alike, this offered the Wanted posters in other regions the name of "The Monkey Faced Demon", Of course this eventually granted the attentions of the worst. The "Inspector" Zenigata proved Lupin to actually not be a challenge and "Eviscerated" Lupin from the face of the Earth... Literally, with an illegal bullet straight to the Lupin's horrid degraded face, feeling every second of agony, until there was none left of a body for the now vanquished monster... Only that this "Inspector Zenigata" was no better and corrupt, later though, karma kicked in for the Inspector (Leave that to your Imagination).
Not that it matters much though: Since then, the codename "Lupin lll" is often used and masquerade his appearances or terrible unjust ideals... There is no other "good" nuance here then this, not in such a world.

• In such Worst Case scenario - Chapulin Colorado never get to fully become Spiderman Grasshopper... Kind of. In México they say the individual was "Just another writer interpreting a Superhero for Fun" And thought they needed their own Hero for a change even trying his own live acted publicity... But in the Ruin's way was hugely unsuccessful. It was the heavier misfortune/past however that led this writer to have a very terrible existential crisis, thus playing the role of his Superhero 24/7 in an effort to help those in dire needs, minor deeds to say, but it did have respecting impact on the people plus the inclined mindset for a while... However the Chapulin Colorado motto of "His Heart, is the greatest shield of all" Was also a major weakness, as it didn't last when dealing with very genuine criminal dangers, when the day came against one dastardly monster... Only the ripped costume was found, but likely declared dead. Only the "Shrinking Pills" were found, which were volatile drugs that may have also led the later to be reported declined mindset, a terrible psychosis of "Helping through Time Travel" to an everyday horn that "freezes people" and mistaking certain people for "Bad Guys" and just being a dazed nuisance.
Curiously enough, a witness who wants to remain anonymous, said that Chapolin was naively given this as a "reward" with very ill intent by a persuasive man of fancy decor, yet hideously deformed face, rumor has it that this shady figure was the one to finish off "Chapulin Colorado". There was no genuine inventory, nor luck that truly saved him...But, at least his heart was in the right place.

• In such worst case scenario - Super Mario... Do I even need to say it too? XD. But I guess if we went more into detail. "Marito" Mario may have been a very handsomely robust Italiano lad, most of his loving embracing attention went with his blonde girlfriend "Penny Preston"... Only to sadly be cucked by a more barge shaped man "Bo Serr." (it really is just Gaston, but with orange/reddish hair)" Which led Mario to be very depressed and took drugs to ease the pain... Thus hallucinating an entire journey to having a brother (Which he never had) looking more and more decrypted from his usual decent self, so Mario "The Hero" saw Bo as a monster, and Penny as his "Princess" (of course he is not reenacting anything, it's all in his head) but it at least made Mario "Happy"... Later he overdoses, making it the more tragic as Mario was on to something after all, when Penny was actually found dead as this Bo, actually kept up an image for the monster he really was underneath, and killed her in a fit of rage.
There already is a similar thing to what I said, but I set it at a more modern Ruins setting (Trigger Warning: It's far more morbid, even Mutahar gives you a heads up on it. It's also still a Trollpasta tho, there will indeed be some leap of logic moments that just makes it funny XD).

• In such worst case scenario - Something TOP secret, but Sonny Hector, nicknamed "The Blue Blur" was a professional athlete but later wanting more from his talents took "special rings" that made him stronger by a shady chemical doctor who persuaded Sonny to go on this ambiguous path... Aside from a change of appearance, had heart attack, yet said doc had his body for further experimenting...
Fireld added this to Sonic when I showed him my Ruin Idea:
  • But life hadn't fully left Sonny's body. He was brought back to life by this shady doctor, but he was never the same. He lost his spirit of adventure & love for the extreme, a shadow of his former self which made him easy to be manipulated & used by the doctor.
Long as it is, but these are what came to mind, you can do your own Ruin ideas with other characters, you can tell I put far more effort on Lupin and Chapulin. I'm curious to see how Goku or Luffy Ruin fates would be like. XD

Happy Halloween Gang!

Is it like a gif or? Cuz if it is a gif, I cannot view it when I open IMGUR.

But yeah! Same to you all!

Chap is on that F.O.A.P. Energy. Lupawn also embraces some Day of the Dead stuff.

I think I have seen a few sort of dress up on campus last time... Maybe the crimson hoodie I have suffices as a costume for me... I have yet to see a Lupawn cosplay...Though real talk: There was this one time on Hallows Eve, some guy wore a fancy costume and I commented on how he looks like the OG... He was interested on something that day to say the least... I haven't seen him since I came back...

Also, here is a rather swell AMV:

Lupin looks unfathomably goated but it seems way too long for me to watch ngl
My CRT while still up in the air (I have become terribly busy myself) is indeed not even close to everything found from those 50+ Years worth of Lupawn content, let alone on a much closer lens in terms of stats. That is not even the only franchise that I am working on that is as comparably old, the Chap is just as vast of a priority. I have gained some degree of Eurekas over the years however, I decided to pair both characters some day... If my tapping's into the drawing zone were not so awfully iffy however.
Though I did watch One Piece but that was back when I barely had a life.
I unfortunately wouldn't have the minding will to watch it all myself unfortunately, given how disappointingly hassling life turned out for me too. I'm already in an unloving Existential Hell.

Heyo: Finally watched Lupin III: The First with friends! That movie was wild. We're all interested in watching more of the series after it too. Super solid movie with incredible visuals. Absolutely going to do something for the black hole generating machine "The Eclipse" and Lupin somehow resisting the pull. Also the scene where he literally moves relative too, and even is shown reacting faster than laser beams in that one hallway Lupin II also got through (best clip I could find).

Also, this calculation of Goemon slicing up a bridge got accepted. Decent supporting feat I'd think

It has been 0 days since somebody mistook that scene for laser dodging (they're pressurized water jets lol)

It's a crazy good analysis feat though, since he seemingly tracks and memorizes the path of every projectile after seeing them once.

It's true that he does get the pattern down stupidly fast and well.

What suggests or confirms they are pressurized water jets, not lasers? I can kind of see it more now that you mention it in terms of the visual effects, but for a place where literal gravity technology is used to keep a device that can create 'micro' black holes protected, and said gravity devices are similarly colored, I'd be surprised the last 'test/defense' is only pressurized water. Been trying to look it up, but cannot find anything about the beams being water.

(to StretchSebe) Managed to find a full scene without cut stuff on Twitter and uploaded it up in case you want to analyze that, especially "close calls" (a HD version is few megabytes higher than a ten limit, so I cannot put it here).
Much better. Will use those, yeah.
I'd have to look it up, but I do remember thinking they were lasers up until I saw it in theaters and went "yo wtf those aren't lasers".
Looking at it more, it still seems like some sort of plasma to me. I could be wrong though.

Whatever they are, I wouldn't agree with them being light speed anyways. There simply isn't enough context to suggest that's the case.
Um... No, they actually ARE LASERS, the creator of the film plus this official guide, legit has confirmations of such being the case despite the initial belief's XD.
