He probably would, but everytime I saw this version of Naruto fighting it was against Juubito so I kinda doubt Clones would've helped him too much there. He might use them here though considering he has no idea who this guy is or what they can do.

Even if there were clones, Luneth would be capable of casting Protect on himself to mitigate more of the damage, and would have AoE magic that can hit multiple targets, such as Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga
