Note that mind manipulation alone doesnt allow you to win. You have to be able to mind manip everyone out the ring pretty quickly before getting knocked off. The mind hax have to be able to affect at least the number of people in the tournament at once, make them walk off the arena and be strong enough to hax everyone.
Giygas can seemingly only mindhax bad people. He isnt beating goku.

yeah..no the majority of fighters there hover around 3-c to low 2-c and you expect them to hold back their power to tier 7 & 9 levels lol

Yeah. They can just push their hand foward and throw them out. Im pretty sure it has happened before (definitely happened in the z anime)
