After bouncing back with a victory the crystal alien looks forward to his third challenge it's none other than Natsu Dragneel who looks to heat things up and burns his way to a win and move up the ranks on the points table after having a fight of his life ended in a draw against Dry Leonhard the fellow Fairy Tail Guild member steps in for his third match, Crystals vs Flames ? you be the judge.

Natsu leads with Fire ? Alright
Diamondhead leads with throwing crystal projectiles which he can shoot from kilometers away.


After which he uses his fighting style which is to keep as much distance as possible from the enemy by making entire kilometer paths of crystals to ride of them and surfing away into the sky and shooting Crystal projectiles from the air, As he can shoot them from any part of his bodies and making crystal shields, weapons, tools of his desire to redirect and deflect any incoming attacks on him. He is a ranged acrobatic attacker who will go straight into the sky and shoot attacks at Natsu from dozens of Kilometers away while constantly surfing in air & riding on his crystal paths mainting his distance which is his attacking style.

Diamondhead absorbs energy, lasers and fire and fire's them back at enemies giving him a nice boost, He has resistance to Fire & Heat (He can be empowered by fire generated by enemies or around him and use them for advantage) and uses it to absorb a fully grown adult Heatblast powers who held nothing back against the villain Xerge and wasn't even bothered by his heat.

Heatblast lives called his home world which is a star called Pyros.


HB’s heat should be comparable to the star he lives on. Which would be around 6000 Kelvin of an average Star.
This is just the surface temperature of a Star… which is why he is not high 6-A. A regular pyronites’ body (living on Pyros) temperature should be comparable to the surface temperature of a Star by virtue of how heat works in a non-isolated system.

Natsu can snipe people across a mountain range with his flames so the distance is hardly an issue.

Crystal surfing through the sky isn’t a problem either as Natsu can just rocket boost his way up to DH with his flames.

Natsu has been hit by his own flames after they got Full Countered back at him no diff so them getting thrown back won’t do anything to him.

Resistance to fire and heat on that level really isn’t going to cover Natsu’s flames which can melt ice that is unaffected by 200 million kelvin. 6000 kelvin is pocket change in comparison.

Diamondhead can restrict his enemies by Crystallizing them using his Crystal imprisonment all he need to do is point at the direction (If Natsu has Class T he can break free from this ?)
Diamondhead having endless supply of crystals at his arsenal would definately keep surfing to avoid Natsu since he can make any crystal weapon, tool etc requires
Not to mention each time Natsu tried to land a hit Diamondhead he will form crystal barriers to block him and use Type 6 Immortality clone to target him since Natsu can't fly and would have to deal with dozens of Barriers, Shields and Diamondhead and cover himself a crystal shield or crystal bubble to protect himself as well.
So it comes to Skill then,
He defeated Warlord of the Galaxy Vilgax who has been a warlord conquering multiple planets and has 3000 years of expierence as you can see failed to break of his crystals, Vilgax is the co-Ceator of the Omnitrix and has Supergenius levels of intellegence yet was defeated multiple times,
Diamondhead defeated 10,000 year old magican Hex while entire battle took place in the sky as you can see he is agile and acrobatic plus he defeated him again using Immortality Type-6 (While he was amplified by powers of magic books). Diamondhead has arial combat experince on his side unless Natsu never gets tired up of Flames at all since Diamondhead has endless crystals on his side? Also Diamondhead kept up with Agent Six who is an agent of Providence Organization and given the title of "Sixth deadliest man on Earth" so via versatility and combat experience he can keep up with Natsu as he did to defeat those geniuses, What are Natsu skill feats ? Tho he is 1.72 Teratons and can amp up to 6.88 Teratons which is going to be an issue if Diamondhead didn't go for the kill first.

What are Natsu skill feats?

Natsu can fight characters like Zeref who can memorize the fighting patterns, magic, psychologies, etc. of an entire tournament of people, and use said information to basically predict the future via probabilities of various combat actions such a placement of enemies, attacks, ect. This is so potent that he can do this for entire armies, and instantly provide multiple counters to enemy actions just by looking at a battlefield and predicting when the enemy leaders are planning for their next move. Basically Natsu is very skilled.

Natsu also has really good sensing being able to distinguish between the real form of something, invisible beings, danger sense which would counter any form of copy shenanigans by diamond head as he would know his true location and wouldn't be able to get the drop on Natsu.

Natsu would flex out of the crystals with his LS.

That stuff isn't skill, it's lifespans and intelligence. If we really want to go that route, Natsu beat Zeref who up and made tech that could ressurect the dead as a 5 year old, time travel by 16, successfully created a new species, an entirely new energy system, probably Magic Barrier Particles (essentially antimatter for magic) too, is so smart that a guy who touted to know every magic in the world is considered inferior to/equal at best to Zeref's knowledge of Magic, is comparable to Mavis who could predict how every fight during the 5th day of the GMG would go down despite only having cursory knowledge of most of the participants etc etc. Natsu also fought Acnologia who genocided most of a species who are all masters of their respective Dragon Slaying Magics which are all martial art styles that make use of seven or so limbs (limbs having joint attacks like elbow and knee strikes), or simply weapon mastery of swords and such. Then we have more concrete skill feats in the form of Natsu being able to download and counter Sting and Rogue's entire movesets after seeing a few of their moves, being able to predict Jellal's blitzworthy movements with just his hearing and smell and would have tagged Jellal if not for Jellal amping his speed even more etc.

Taking nothing away, Those are indeed good skill & intelligence infact Vilgax himself designed the Omntrix device that transform you into millions of aliens, Conqueror of 10 planets, Basically top 5 people on Earth like Agent Six can't defeat Ben along with the villain High Override the destroyer and conqueror of planets who leads his army to conquer planets, lead to destruction of his own species planet everyone on Fulmas planet are soldiers with natural warrior instinct as they are constantly battling with other planets & conquering them, yet was defeated by Ben. Both Natsu and Reboot Ben has their up sights,
But in the end yeah due to higher LS, Far more powerful Flames & Superior AP Diamondhead wouldn't be able to keep up for very long, sad
