Link already appeared in Soul Calibur. Now it's time for him to appear in Mortal Kombat.

Scenario: Link is sitting on a rock with his fairies playing his ocarina. When all of a sudden he hears a big rumble coming from Hyrule Castle. Link, fearing for Zelda, picks up his sword, hops on Epona, and rides there as fast as he could. When he gets there, he finds it in disarray. Tarkatans are eating Hylian Soldiers, and Shokans are ripping apart Zoras who came to help. Darunia is fighting someone called Motaro. Link forces himself to ignore the carnage and hurries up the castle to see Shao Kahn fighting Zelda in her Sheik getup. And Shao Kahn is winning. Easily.

"This is easier than Edenia. Now bring me your best challenger."

"I won't let you get past me."

"Very well. I gave you an out. Now I will show you no mercy."

Link could only watch as Shao Kahn speeds over to Zelda and snaps her neck. Zelda falls limply at Link's feet. Link yells, draws his sword, and rushes into combat, knowing only one will leave here alive. Kahn sees Link coming, and picks up his hammer... Speed equalized.

Hmmm, Close very Clsoe but I'd give it to the Hero of Hyrule, simply because the durabilty on Shao Kahn sucks to honest I mean CB level vs Planet level AP? that and link has a wide variety of weapons that can aid him in battle, so for me Link, but by a small margin

Khan's durability isn't city block. I'd give this to the emperor of Outworld via experience, regen and better hax.

Pros:

Immortality

More Combat exp

Healing factor

Longer Range

Cons:

Physically weaker

Lower striking strength

Massively overconfident

Immortality is not Perfect Immortality, therefore, if a being stronger than him were to fight him, he could be killed

As a being of evil, he would theoretically be weak to holy-type weapons/attacks

Link (Composite)'s Pros/Cons:

Higher strength

Higher striking power

More analytical figher, able to discern an enemy's weakness almost instantly.

More varied fighting style

Higher intelligence

Time Manipulation hax (lasts 7 seconds)

Soul/conciousness sealing (sealed Demise's lingering soul/conciousness away within the Master Sword where the holy energy gradually eradicated it over time)

Curse-type attack immunity via the Triforce of Courage

Cons:

Lower Range

Less Stamina


I'd have to give a slight edge to Link, due to Time-Stop hax and the ability to overcome Khan's regen, as well as if we're going by the assumption that, as Khan is a being of evil, he'd be weak to a large portion of Link's arsenal.

Well, Link does have the hax to beat him. I don't exactly know how you defend against a guy who can stop time, equipped with a sword that every fiber of your being is weak to.

Link's beaten reality warpers before, and the Master Sword can seal away a person's conciousness and/or soul and have its holy energy gradually eradicate them completely.
