So? What does that have to do with anything? neither of there reputations are combat applicable without prior knolwedge. again its not an ability it's how they are preceived in there world. Vs battles have both contestants unaware of there opponents ablities, history or character fight.

That is to make the matches fair, but how is that fair to take away/restrict part of what makes King's greatest strength?

And King's opponents would still be unaware of King's true physical abilities, that he is a weak human.

we aren't restricting king, we give him the same position as every character, no prior knowledge on there world/rep/abilities, the fact his reputation is what makes him worth something doesn't mean he automatically gets it in a vs battle.

Its not even an ability it is literally how others in his world perceive him based on prior knowledge, we're not going to make a special exception for king because you want him to be stronger. If you want his rep to matter in a fight give prior knowledge that's all I have to say on this
