Kumagawa vs Weather Report

So is Heavy Weather's ability to turn people into snails passive? If it is, he could just turn Kumagawa into a mollusc and be done with it. I might be missing something though.
 
By All Fictioning everything in theory.

But it will probably become a "snail All Fiction" effectively rendering it useless. Same with Bookmaker. Powers gets snailed faster than their users iirc (especially if they're from a psychological source like Stands or Minuses imo)

4km with speed equalized to Weather's prevents Kumagawa from getting close before the snailing takes effect.
 
Can we make a match with Weather against like a robot or something? Would make matches way more fun to debate.
 
More like Kumagawa will be unable to use it because snail brain and snail thoughts.
 
Ok so first lemme use some random arguments, that aren't all that great.

  • Kumagawa can use all fiction once WR goes for the kill.
Now for my trap card.

  • Kumagawa cannot be convinced. No matter how much Saki tried in the novels even with nothing to say against her he said "well let's assume that" (when she was right), he just lets other people's emotions flow through him and to top it all off, Kumagawa is dumb. He's really dumb. He has trouble doing 6 - 1. He ain't getting snailed anytime soon.
 
HR is passive and unless you're a Stand user or actively told how it works you won't even realise it's happening to you.

Birds and butterflies got turned into snails. I doubt Kumagawa is dumber than a butterfly.
 
Yes, but he doesn't need to realize. You have to convince him, he won't be convinced.

Well he's more hardheaded than birds and butterflies for sure.
 
He doesnt have to be convinced. It effects the subconcious, it aint a concious decision one makes to believe it or not. Unless he has direct control over his subconcious whether he wants to or not, it'd effect him unless he has a resistance to it specifically.

Even those that know exactly how it works and what it does and how it functions in detail arent immune to it, Pucci literally had to make himself blind despite knowing everythig about it and being the stand user that was responsible for taking heavy weather from weather in the first place, he knew whatit did, or itdid and is even the place that details came from but he had to make himself blind to be uneffected. Also it's stand bio states all organisms are effected by it, it's more then just some bugs or birds.
 
Kumagawa doesn't have to throw bookmaker btw, he can spawn it inside of people so it can't really be snailed

Dude, if it worked on birds and insects I don't think lacking an opinion would necessarily protect you from it. Heavy Weather's ability is passive so whether or not Kumagawa goes for the kill is meaningless since he will still be too slow to respond to it.

It works on people through their subconscious Si it's definitely affecting him here, whether he knows about it or not. And affecting concepts doesn't really count as a valid reason as to why he would win without any reasoning.
 
Weather isn't exactly expressing opinions, he's directly letting your subconscious know that you are a snail. Unless you explicitly have the ability to keep your sub-consciousness in check, you don't resist it, no matter how high your willpower or resistance to normal persuasion.

Yeah the snailing is not instant, but at that instant Kumagawa already think he is a snail without other thought.
 
Kumagawa can neither see nor interact with Heavy without AF and Bookmaker.

He is not Bookmakering a badly dressed eskimo for no reason.
