Knuckles has a fair amount of versitality and using different elements, however DMK has that as well. Along with the Regenerationn to help make him extremely difficult to put down. I think DMK would win after a rather difficult fight.

Hyper Knucles has a time limit,DMK dosn't. Not to mention DMK is still Meta Knight's rival, just they haven't seen eachother in a long time.

DMK has high regneration. Knuckles is on a time-limit in hyper form, and even though he has more options, none of them bypass DMK's regen.
