I mean with the core you could argue the SS Naked Sol helped, but I don't think the ship did much to help cut it. I believe ryuko did most of the work?

The only thing she had help with was everyone cheering her on from the Sol which got her fired up enough to cut through the PLF's core

Yeah she had help with that. U see the Naked ship exist right out of the (the whole purpose of that using te ship as a blade was to also go and cut it). If Ryüko truly cut it by herself then it would had shown her doing it or her bursting out of the life fiber. Mako and the students with stars gave enough of the ships enough power to help Ryuko out with cutting life fiber
