Katana upgrade

So katana dura is street level but i just remember about this katana vs 50 cal video, in that video that katana can take up to seven 50 cal bullets(only slightly dent for the first bullet) before it broken so any thought about this?

I'm not sure.

I'm against the upgrade since when it comes to real life there are multiple factors that affect the durability of an object except the energy of the hit.And i've seen a gif of a guy bending a katana by hitting it with a european longsword.

Well how about change it durability to varies from street lv to wall level or something like that? assume that each katana can be different depend on who made them.
