Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

He used SD to just buy time. Last Chapter he wasn't injured much.

Can someone explain how Buildings got captured by Sukuna's domain but Maki didn't. Both lacks CE Lmao

Ehhhh… Maki didn’t? Also isn’t it just a barrier thing? If Sukuna’s are painted over buildings and grounds then I’d assume they’d be affected too.

Chat, what the hell does "「電」「開」" mean?
The Japanese term for "telephone call" is 電話, blending the kanji for "electricity" and "call".
Perhaps "電開" implies Sukuna is opening an electronic appliance; say, a stove, maybe?
Chat, I had the text wrong.
The correct kanji is "竈", which is "hearth; kitchen stove; furnace; kamado (a traditional Japanese wood or charcoal-fueled cook stove)".

Anyway, furigana exists.

Sukuna domain is not functioning properly that's why I guess. It's better to wait for TCB translation. Mya translation sucks most of the parts.

Sukuna's CT is definitely related to cooking with all these Kitchen references and appliances.

Here lies all the theories about Sukuna’s CT. Redditors always thought it was something it clearly wasn’t.

I once saw a dude saying his CT was a box that he takes different CTs.

Black Box is just a censored word. Fuuga is simply a chant.

They always kept saying “we don’t know about Sukuna’s CT” but he always did. His CT kept the same consistency from chapter 1 to 258. We know all its abilites: Cleave, Dismantle and Kitchen Hearth (if that guy is correct).

TLDR we got gaslit into thinking his Cursed Technique was hidden from us

It was even named "Shrine" in Chapter 217

I love how some people still thought the characters now are as weak as they were back in Shibuya or earlier and forget that Gege the typical shonen manga powercliffing and having them surpass everyone prior in the series to this point and the recent raws just shows how much they've grown from their training
Someone here still thinks 3 Fingers Sukuna beats them all.

Imagine he recruited Uraume purely because he wanted them to be the freezer to his kitchen.

Oh yeah. Now that I've checked the panel, it's 99% Miwa. By the way, Gege must be smoking some stuff to even put out a statement that Maki isn't recognized by the domain because she lacks cursed energy, despite Sukuna's domain attacking everything in its vicinity. 'Dismantle' for non cursed energy objects and 'Cleave' for cursed energy objects.
may be a tranlsation error (I won't judge till we get actaul translations from TCB tomorrow)

Finally Megumi’s domain is complete, but it’s sad how Sukuna had to unlock this fraud’s potential for him

Ngl the translations for the leaks on discord were ass so I'm only really peacing together what happened through this thread. That being said WUJI HAS SIMPLE DOMAIN TOP 5 IN THE VERSE BABYYYYYYYY
Not just that but he can reconnect body parts through Blood manip, second best RCT in the verse?

This chapter does bring the question: Yuji ct showed as scissors, can his different perception move the technique to NOT be cooking related? Yuji associates “cutting” with scissors so whatever tool he associates with “burning” should be something modern...... Did fireworks exist in Heian era?

I am telling ya its gonna be art as a whole that is shrine not just cooking which allows for quite a different preception of things.

Sukuna revolves around self pleasure, namely eating, and doesn't care what he tramples on in his selfish quest for endless gratification.
So his abilities manifest as such, even the names of his techniques are reminiscent of items found in the kitchen. His cleave and dismantle represented by knives, his fire being a kitchen hearth, and his domain being Fukuma Mizushi, Malevolent Shrine or otherwise translated as Malevolent Kitchen.
Yuji on the other hand isn't like Sukuna. He's not only a child still, being only 15 years of age, but also doesn't take pleasure from the misery of others and is mindful of how he uses his power; Megumi points out such in Shibuya.
So his Shrine technique makes cuts by placing Scissor marks to indicate what he cuts.
I assume if Yuji were to unlock more aspects of Shrine it may either be a more childlike/innocent representation of fire or might even be the opposite and be the ability to stop flames.

I hope it will be a nuke, but yeah you are probably right lmao. He is still a child
