The correct kanji is "竈", which is "hearth; kitchen stove; furnace; kamado (a traditional Japanese wood or charcoal-fueled cook stove)".
Anyway, furigana exists.

They always kept saying “we don’t know about Sukuna’s CT” but he always did. His CT kept the same consistency from chapter 1 to 258. We know all its abilites: Cleave, Dismantle and Kitchen Hearth (if that guy is correct).

This chapter does bring the question: Yuji ct showed as scissors, can his different perception move the technique to NOT be cooking related? Yuji associates “cutting” with scissors so whatever tool he associates with “burning” should be something modern...... Did fireworks exist in Heian era?

So his Shrine technique makes cuts by placing Scissor marks to indicate what he cuts.
