Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

At least in Sukuna's case, he'll let you live if you don't get in his way or if he doesn't see you as worth the time considering he was seemingly gonna let Ryu go or at least implied that when he blocked his path. He was also able to actually live in the Heian era semi-peacefully considering we have scenes where he's just chilling while people show up to pray to him.

Kenjaku and Mahito are kinda just straight up malicious. Moreso Mahito but Kenjaku will also just do literally anything for the sake of his "plan" or if he just feels like it

I looked up pure evil jjk villains

All I got was mahito and kenjaku

Ngl sukuna would count if not for liking uraume.
"Liking Uraume" has some assumptions, if you ask me. Uraume's a powerful sorcerer that practically worships the King of Curses w/out question; Sukuna respects their strength and devotion but I don't see him actually caring if they died, outside of missing all the uses of ice powers.

In mahito’s defense isn’t it because it’s his nature as a cursed spirit which means he’s literally incapable of doing anything considered good?

Just do you guys think sukuna is a pure evil character
Yeah, Sukuna actively enjoys and revels in the suffering he inflicts upon people because that's part of what makes living so fun for him. The difference between him and the likes of Mahito is what suffering means to them. Mahito inflicts pain and misery as a goal in life, Sukuna does so as a symptom of being alive.

Tbh I am curious why he became evil or just born this way.

I'd say all three of them are pure evil but go about it in different ways/roles; to borrow a bit from Aleczandxr

Sukuna through strength/combat as a warrior god.

Kenjaku through intellectual curiosity and discovery like a mad scientist.

Mahito just the purest form while being a combination of both.

Ngl kenjaku feels like jjk’s version of Shang tsung from MK

Well, most of the people that accepted Kenjaku's deal is because they wanted to die by the hands of someone stronger, someone unstoppable, to give them some feeling of hype (Kashimo, Ryu).

In Heian era everyone fights everyone without a care, and in that era they had Sukuna, so for them there wasnt any reason to enter the Culling Game

With the exception being Uro, who fears Sukuna, and Yorozu, who just wants to **** Sukuna

What was the reason for Angel?

Nah, Gojo is mid for a heian era sorcerer. Sukuna would just need to stop holding back fr fr

If we're going by Villains Wiki's criteria, Sukuna's capability of showing respect and honor to his opponents disqualifies him from being Pure Evil

Mahito points out that cursed spirits like him and Hanami have rationale and reasoning, unlike other cursed spirits which lash out like mindless beasts, yet they still choose to follow through with their nature as curses
