Unfortunately he got surprised by one-arm Naobito's speed which Dagon, who was previously getting blitzed, could dodge a punch from without even looking and Naobito is Mach 0.82This doesn't apply to my Goat

At this point worrying about speed is waste of time. AP should be corrected meanwhile. We can argue regarding speed after Manga is completed.
Knowing he was planning on ending in this year Idk may be around 275 to 280 chapters it will end ? If he gonna expand Back story for Heian era(I heavily doubt he is doing that) can go further.

Well Gege is the same guy who wrote mach 3 statement and made maki struggle with it and Gege is same guy who made Jackpot Hakari dodge Lightning strike. So if people having hard time accepting one of the feats Gege give because another feats has lesser value. I guess it is Contradicting. Well it's not Contradicting in my POV for now. It's technically Contradicting for whoever belives Mach 3 is cap for JJk.

tbf Gege had to bring in the author of dr Stone to get Kashimo's lightning physics correct. Him just not knowing how fast lightning is when he wrote that scene wouldn't surprise me

Looking back at the old speed threads and seeing people believe the Mach 1 wall from Naobito and Naoya in 2021 was contradictory because of the Supersonic-Hypersonic calcs using the 13/1000s adult perception and 1/220s fighter pilot perception disappointed me

It's not about mach 3 or Low 7-B. It's about how many times we downgraded and Upgraded the verse and still don't have a proper solid calculations.

This assumes that Lightning Strike is meant to be associated and interpreted as MHS in speed, Gege generally tells us what the speed of something is when it matters, the lightning strikes not important to the story or to any character for conveying the superiority in speed compared to others.
You can see characters like Naobito, Gojo, Naoya, Jogo, and I believe Toji, all getting actual statements and emphasis on their speed in the story, when we have that in a story and it's consistently pushed in our face that their level of speed is impressive we follow that.
Calcs can be useful when there is not enough in the story telling us where character should scale, but otherwise going off a couple calcs to portray the speed of some of the most important characters in the series just isn't reasonable.
This is kinda the same issue I had with Domains scaling to ap, its the supreme technique in verse, nothing else is better than them, no one can do it multiple times in a day yet people were thinking it makes sense to scale Dagon to island level off a calc.
