Is most of the latter part of Jin's abilities for what he does with his zombies? And are his zombies weak to sunlight. Also, while Jonathan doesn't exactly know about necromancy, he knows how his in-verse zombies are made, so does it help against 30% reduction?

The zombies aren't weak to the sun, but pretty sure they are weak to holy stuff, so verse equal should still affect that.
He has forcefields, stat amps and bfr to a pocket dimension. But nearly everyone in-verse can get out of the bfr, so it's only a last thing resort.

That shouldn't be much of a problem as undead are meh and people weaker than Jonathan have broken out of pocket dimensions before.

The dimension is specifically made stop that tough.
Plus, I imagine it would be harder to Hamon the dozens of meter zombies that can grow new limbs/tentacles properly
