He could have done it against other people but didn't. Also, it may just not cross his mind, since he also has the alternate tactic he could go for where he uses various objects from around the house to incapacitate 096 in one move once they touch the finger prints, like cutting off its limbs with a dollar bill, or using change to split it in half, or using water to almost instantly force it down a drain. if 096 manages to avoid the finger prints by jumping them or something then it can take him borderline defenselessly
