Johnny Test General Discussion Thread!

Finna make a CRT for this verse soon.

There were a couple of inventions from the show that aren't listed on the profile that I want to add, as well as a potential new ability for Johnny in his base key.

Oh, and I'm going to convince mfs that the laser dodging feats in Johnny Test are legit.
Looks like you're making a comeback

But before I make the CRT, I'd like to post the stuff I had planned here to see if you approve them.

New Ability For Johnny:
New Hax Via Inventions:
Laser Dodging Feats:
Note: It has been stated that Magic does not exist in the universe of Johnny Test, which is why I named the power Johnny gains Reality Warping as opposed to just Magic.

@Propellus

Marksmanship and the new Hax checks out. But onto the lasers however, it only accomplishes one of the requirements so far, but not quite enough if it's through that evidence alone. Are there any more additional evidence of them being lightspeed?

List me some requirements I need in order to get the lasers accepted as lightspeed. I might be able to find something.

Aight, so a question on these two requirements:

  • The beam refracts in a new material, such as a liquid or...
  • The beam diffuses in a reasonably realistic way
The latter requirement is very vague, and I'd like to see a demonstration of this.

As for the former, I'm not too sure what that means. Can you explain it if possible?

I feel like the page is repeating it's requirements considering that the word "refract" means to change directions which also means it's just reflective depending on the material that light should reflect from realistically. And other one just means that the beam just has to melt through things at least.

Interesting, but can you explain the shrinking part too?

Does the shrinking part automatically invalidate it?

Well it's called a Shrink Ray, and when it makes contact with something, it can shrink it down to any desireable size.

And other one just means that the beam just has to melt through things at least.
Oh. I can probably find something, then.

They don't turn to liquid, but they create smoke after they hit the ground, which implies the lasers carry heat energy as they travel.

Also, should I try and get a calc member to calculate one of the laser dodging feats?

Then I guess Rel Johnny Test is good to go then, the evidence seems to check out. With that on the way, you could also bump Johnny to FTL with the Bionic Arm

CRT has been made!

Am I the only one who thinks Johnny Test (the character) gets so much unwarranted hate?

Depends, but we know how much of a jerk and a-hole he can been at times, but he does have moments of kindness at times.

Never hated him when I watched the show when younger so there is that.

I could make a whole essay on how overhated he is.

Plus, the same people that call Johnny out for being an a-hole are the same people who will go and praise other characters for doing the same thing.

Ngl I usually get that ppl will always have something to hate/dislike if it is a character or anything else so I usually ignore that.

Johnny Test definitely came off as selfish as there are certain mistakes he has made, but one can just chalked it up as being a young teenager (IIRC anyway, but I might thinking of some other characters that is in the teenager stage)

Him being 11 years old makes the hate even less justified. Like what boy Johnny's age doesn't act selfish from time to time? Characters like Eddy (before he got redeemed), Gumball, and Bart Simpson have similar personalities as Johnny, but they don't get nearly as much hate.

Mini CRT.

I'm specifically talking about the guy surviving the damage.
Oh that. Probably building level (8C) or lower for that just from eyeballing it as I factoring in the square inverse law.

But it is worth to calc the durability for the exact value as it is a explosion technically I think

Alright, so I think they're should be some changes to one of Susan and Mary's inventions listed in Johnny and Dukey's profiles. Also, some new abilities that should be added to their profiles as well.

Reality Warping (With The Maginator. Johnny gains "magical powers", which allows him to transport people to different places, make people, and objects disappear, turn people into animals, teleport himself and others, and much more)

So remember when I said this was Reality Warping? So after reading both of the Reality Warping and Matter Manipulation (Atomic Manipulation section), I realized that the hax Johnny gains from The Maginator is definitely Matter Manipulation.

This is further backed up from the fact that Susan and Mary explains that The Maginator grants the user the ability to break down or build up atoms to make it seem like they're performing a magical event.

So replace Reality Warping with Matter Manipulation (Atomic Manipulation).

Secondly, Johnny should gain either Empathic Manipulation or Social Influencing via 'The Irresistible Making Machine'. The machine heightens a persons most attractive DNA traits, causing them to become irresistible. This causes people like Johnny's dad to buy him all of the video games at the store and get free red gush. And when it's used in higher dosage, people who are normally mean to Johnny will act nice to him, and would be more than willing to do anything for him. The entire city of Porkbelly are affected by it too, as they're willing to give free stuff to Johnny as well. He's irresisitible to the point of obsession, which causes the town to chase after him and even sell merch of him across the city. To sum it up, The Irresistible Making Machine can virtually cause anyone to become irresistible and make anyone do their bidding. OP asf.

Thirdly, a new ability for Dukey's Super Dukey key. He has a Canine Oral Forcefield, which can negate Wacko's flying disc, which can cause someone's head to explode on contact. This likely falls under Forcefield Creation for obvious reasons.

And lastly, an ability both Johnny and Dukey should've been had, but never did cause I'm a dummy: Preparation. A good portion of Susan and Mary's inventions require Johnny and Dukey to go the lab and equip them or use a machine to get the ability to work, so they should have preparation for that sole reason.

And that's it I think.
