Reboot has him as a living human, the ending of it could be left up to debate, but we wouldn't know since no sequel came out to it.

My only question is what does 049 have to deal with being attacked from a distance since Reboot Jason does use a bow. Plus, Jason rarely attacks head on, rather sticking to being hidden then attacking when having the element of surprise

Fair enough it seems. But he still doesn't have anything to counter Jason's usual stealth tactic. I won't deny that he can one touch kill him, but he won't be expecting Jason to just pop out of nowhere and just slice him

I'm starting to see that Jason has no real way to take down this guy. He gets killed in a single touch and any tactic he has is nulled by 049's lack of vitals
